Hotel S. Anna

Very clean hotel rooms in a quaint building near the Vatican City; nice bars and restaurants downstairs; the concierge was friendly and helpful. Me and my cousin enjoyed the stay.

Very nice hotel close to Vatican and close enough to metro for access to many other sights.

Very conveniently located near the Vatican for the early morning tour we were doing. It was also a reasonable walk to the Trevi fountain area (but it wasn’t close). Hotel had air conditioning which was great for the warm weather. Many restaurants located right on the street outside the hotel. Check in was easy. Room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.

The customer service is exceptional. Marcello at the front desk helped us arrange for transportation going to the cruise port and back. Everyone was just so nice. The hotel is perfect if you want to stay near the Vatican and many great restaurants around. Thank you so much Marcelo for kindness.

Hotel is convenient as to is very close to Vatican and other attractions. Hotel is historic structure built in the 1500s. It was refurbished appt 1970 and has all the modern features a traveler would want. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Lots of restaurants are close by. Would stay there again.

Great location! Just a short walk to Vatican. Believe our room was upgraded to include a balcony! Faced pedestrian street but very quiet! Great restaurant options on pedestrian street. When used to sleeping with a bed topper, did find bed a little hard at first, but once asleep, didn’t notice it! Great breakfast with all we needed. Service at front desk was awesome!

Excellent location and very quiet.

We were happily surprised with hotel. Great with party larger than 2. Bedroom we stayed in had two twins and a queen. Perfect for us. I had little expectations on the breakfast, but the scrambled eggs made fresh in the kitchen may be the best I have ever tasted & pastries were excellent! We will utilize again in Rome. Perfect location if Vatican is a priority.

My friend and I recently spent a fantastic few days in this beautiful city. Loved everything about the hotel. Our room was bright and clean and had a lovely bathroom. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and the gentlemen on reception were always helpful and polite. Breakfast is served in a basement room that is very pretty, and there's a good variety to choose from. The hotel is within walking distance of Vatican City and St Angelo castle. The Coloseum is a good taxi ride away. There are a few restaurants along the street where the hotel is situated, so it's quite busy during the day, but by night, everything is completely closed and extremely quiet. If you're looking for any kind of nightlife,it's definitely a taxi ride away! Having said that, help was always on hand. We were given advice on where to go, and a taxi was called for us whenever needed one. Highlights...Vatican City, breathtaking! Trevi fountain, walking the city and the people of Rome in general. Had a wonderful time at this pretty, intimate hotel. Thank you Sant' Anna for a fantastic stay!
