Entrance in the historic center near the Spanish Steps excellent location! Dilapidated building caustrophobic lift, on the first floor there are lodgings seized with seals. On the second floor of the B&B the owner did not show up with provisions with Wazzup. Dirt and hair are at home. Noisy street and recently opened windows!!! Bathroom with broken shower head!!!

Weird musty smell in the unit. Room is rather rundown and old. Walls are dirty with marks. Shower area has a weird design where it's above floor level but has no door so every time you shower, the floor will get really wet. When we arrived, there was no soap and it only came 6 hours after we asked for some. There was also no hot water and we called and texted the host only to get a short reply after an hour. We couldn't take a shower that first night because the water was freezing. There was no explanation from the host, no apology, not even an update on it having been fixed if we hadn't asked. Asked for a kettle and it came but it was dirty. We didn't bother complaining much to the host because we know it would be pointless seeing how inhospitable they are and the lack of care they show towards the guests' comfort. The only good thing about this place is the location. FYI this is NOT a hotel.

I booked for two days of Easter at the aforementioned "hotel" after a series of calls to confirm the reservation. One month after my stay, I am contacted by the owner (a certain Mr. Andrea) who tells me that there had been an error and my reservation had to be canceled due to an overlap with other reservations. Leaving me without a hotel. The truth is that they will surely have sold the stay at a higher price since it is Easter weekend. In addition, I am offered an alternative in the neighborhood above the Colosseum (obviously not accepted) and when I refused the owner even teased me asking me why the Colosseum was not at my level. If I had wanted to book at the Colosseum I would have done so and certainly not with them. Very unreliable and unreliable people. Surely they take advantage of the place but don't trust them: from one day to the next they will cancel your reservation!
