Luxury Trastevere is our hotel of heart when we are in Rome. We feel at home there. Augusto and Claudia are always available, so arriving and checking in was no problem. The rooms (we had both rooms on the 2nd floor, and we were able to look at the third room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful terrace, it is a very nice suite that we will definitely book on our next visit). All 3 rooms are beautifully furnished, you sleep on comfortable beds and have a beautiful view of the via della Paglia and the bell tower of Santa Maria in Trastevere. The windows insulate very well, so that you don't notice much of the hustle and bustle at night, especially since the air conditioning works reliably and quietly. The bathrooms are nice, have good showers and there are fresh towels every day. The walk-in closets are really spacious, there are plenty of hangers and even a fridge which had 2 very welcome bottles of mineral water when we arrived. Also important and a pleasant service: there is a Nespresso machine!! The shared living room is equipped with a small tea kitchen. We always had breakfast downstairs in the square opposite the basilica. This is also a tradition for us, the view of this splendor is priceless! And the best thing of all is stepping out of the house in the evening and being in the middle of the neighborhood. There are countless nice restaurants and bars, and after a lovely evening all you have to do is climb the steep stairs and go to bed, what more could you want! Speaking of stairs: it's wonderful to be able to live in a building from the 14th century, but you should know that the stairs are still original and have quite high steps. Grazie Augusto per l'accoglienza, torneremo presto!
