We booked this hotel for a three night stay before our cruise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our corner room had a cute balcony and the décor, furnishings, and vibe is sexy modern. They have a fabulous restaurant where you can grab the breakfast buffet. So many amazing choices. We also had dinner here one night and drinks another. It's tucked away in a very lively and fun neighborhood. Around the corner are tons of restaurants and shops. It's a 6 minute walk to Piazza di Santa Maria where we bought souvenirs, ate gelato and pizza, and hung out with the night crowd. The main street around the corner It's a 35 minute walk to the colosseum and a 45 minute walk to the Vatican. We did each of these on different days. It's definitely centrally located and I would stay here again.

Cleanliness: not clean, the floor was dirty, the room was dusty, the bathtub still had lint and hair from previous guests, the shower tray was dirty, a towel was thrown on the shower tray, black mold (which is also toxic) on the corners of the room , a little on the ceiling on the walls below, a little everywhere in short. Upon arrival you are invaded by the persistent musty smell; the second day the manager of the apartment told us that he would remove the mold and in fact it was (almost) done, the mold on the ceiling was removed but only ”the bulk”, therefore where it was most evident at first glance; we were given a change of towels (applause) and made the bed, if it weren't for the black imprint of a shoe under a pillow not present until the day before. As far as breakfast is concerned, however, it is a plus: they have vouchers that can be used in two bars with two/three types of breakfast to choose from. We went to ”Giselda” and the breakfasts were excellent. The tub had a little stain on the bottom but this wasn't a problem in our opinion. The same had a bit of a tantrum to leave and therefore we had to contact the structure to understand how to get it going. The TV was unusable and only after retuning the channels did it start working (in a non-enjoyable way anyway). There was soundproofing but only one wall is soundproofed, so you can hear the comings and goings of people both from the corridor and from outside, even just the simple shouting in the common area. This made it difficult to rest even at night. The luggage room is a sort of dark and dusty basement/hovel, with a strong musty smell.

Very nice hotel , convenient location in Trastevere ! Walking distance to restaurants and bridges. I didn’t try the breakfast since one morning we had tickets to the Vatican with breakfast included. I recommend the early tickets to the Vatican with the breakfast. The staff is very friendly and nice. I would stay here again.

Overall, we really liked the location of this hotel, and was a good value for the money. We wanted something budget, and got it. The staff was kind. We had to wait a bit for check in (even though we were there on time, our room wasn't quite ready), but other than that everything was pretty seamless. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the room was mostly clean. We had a private bathroom. Our rating is low because the shower tile was pretty moldy, and the shower didn't drain well and because of this we thought we were going to leave with athletes foot or something.

We had a super stay here (for the Rugby, Italy vs. England). The rooms are very modern, light and have everything you need (small fridge, Iron, Ironing board, complimentary Tea & Coffee, small snacks). We were lucky and had a room with a small balcony, very nice for sitting in the morning and having a coffee :-). Best of all is Michaela, such a lovely lady. After booking in and getting all the formalities done, she proceeded to give us a map of Rome, pointing out all the landmarks, how to get there, which transport we could use as well as giving us recommendations for the local area (Trastevere) for eating and shopping (as well as tips for pubs). Really friendly and helpful. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, that this is the place to go. Well worth *6* Stars :-) Mille Grazie Michaela!
