Rovaniemi Hotels with Airport pickup service

The room is very good, and guests who stay here are given a free set meal for dinner. We were lucky enough to see the aurora during our three-day stay, especially on the last night. When the aurora was strongest at around 2 o'clock in the middle of the night, the hotel would provide a message to remind us.

We are a family of 5 and booked 2 family rooms in this hotel. The rooms were big, compared to another Rovaniemi hotel that we stayed in and the amenities were wonderful. Free use of Sauna, 24hr gym, just located directed opposite the supermarket and most of all, the hotel has a microwave that you can heat up the food brought from the supermarket! What a deal!. Some areas for improvement, it would good if the Sauna can be 24hrs instead of closing at 10pm. If the hotel can provide utensils like spoon and fork it will be even more awesome. Overall our best stay in Rovaniemi for the price point, I think its a steal. Oh BTW, Burger King and McDonald is just opposite and 24hrs too.

The best hotel in the whole Nordic trip, although expensive. But the location is good, the room is large, the facilities are new, and the front desk service is good. The window sill view is good. A whole super praise It is recommended to try the hotel's sauna, the experience is good! recommend!

The Arctic City Hotel was located in a prime spot, perfect to explore the city of Rovaniemi as well as reach the tour operators (our tour operator was Nordic Unique Travels, and they were right across the street). The room was fine, nothing special but had everything you needed, and the bed was quite comfortable. In a lot of other reviews you’ll read negative things about the shower, which we can indeed confirm: super small and water floods half of the bathroom, but then again: when you’re in Lapland, you won’t stay in your room that much anyways! The people who worked at Arctic City Hotel were all very nice, special shoutout to Diana from the front desk! We also had a great vegan dinner at Monterosa, a restaurant part of the hotel. Vegan breakfast was limited. We would highly recommend the hotel if you’re out and about during your stay, and just need a comfortable place to sleep!

The hotel room is not very big and the bathroom is a bit crowded. It can be seen that the decoration has been for a long time, but the health is very very clean. All staff are great. The breakfast is also great. I also prepared a lot of guide information in Chinese to go to Santa Village by car. Very convenient from the airport to the hotel by bus 7 Euros like most European hotels do not provide free disposable slippers and toiletries

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre, it's a basic hotel which is clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is more continental with 3 hot item available. The only downside to the hotel is their is no safe in the rooms so had to carry all personal items laptop, money, passport etc around with me all the time. The hotel did offer to put item in their own safe but decided against it. It didn't put me off staying here again and would return.

The hotel is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi. You can write to the hotel to arrange Taxi. You can make an appointment with the hotel front desk to shuttle to the Zoo, and the round trip is free. A well-equipped glass house with its own sauna. The glass can be heated, and you can see the sky very clearly while lying in bed, and you can really experience watching the aurora in the glass house The only disadvantage is that you need to drag your luggage to the glass house by yourself. It would be better if you can have someone or a car to check your luggage

Very good location, just next to city center The Nordic-style youth travel design is very beautiful. There is an elevator for people with large luggage. The room is very large, the bed is very good to sleep. The bathroom is big, but there is water. The heating in the room feels very weak. It has been turned on to the strongest. 3 or it feels not warm enough. The bathroom heater is no longer hot. In this area below minus 10 degrees, the heater is weak? It's really cold in the middle of the night or in the morning. Downstairs is the cafe Breakfast is served in the cafe. But it's really not cheap to ask for 11 euros a person The hotel is very close to the bus stop to Santa Claus Village. It is not too far to drive to Santa Claus Village. The road to the airport is in the direction. The bus schedule is actually a bit messy, it seems that many buses can go. But it's just a different route. There is an aurora group next door. It is very convenient to go there and book.

Check in was quick loved my room. Tub is awesome the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great lots of options. The temperature in room was a bit cold. I spoke with front desk she said there was extra heaters. I declined it was just odd to me that room had no operating heat.

We booked this penthouse to have a nice weekend and enjoy beautiful view from the balcony. We carefully selected a very nice stay among all possible stays in Swedish Lapland and Finnish Lapland region reading all reviews and making a long research for a high-quality leisure stay. Instead we were forced to listen to around 9 hours of very loud unbearable rock through the whole evening. From 15:30-01 :00 90DB noise for 9 hours (harmful for health) 90 decibels is a high noise level, equivalent to the noise generated by a leaf blower or the sound level of a concert. Compared to 80 dB, 90 dB is 10 times more intense and twice as loud. Whenever you are exposed to this noise level, you should wear hearing protection. One could hear music even in the sauna. After two hours of nonstop noise and starting headache I contacted the host about full refund I got an answer that there is a festival just outside the building. Here is what I got as a reply: ”Is the music coming from outside? There is Santa open air music festival in the park by the riverside going thru the weekend.” Since host did not solve the problem I had to call to San Francisco USA airbnb support to solve the problem. Next reply from host was not apology and problem solving too. It was: ”This is a public outdoor event which have been promoted by the city of Rovaniemi. So it’s a well-known event, which attracts a lot of attention and visitors. We don’t ask our guests why they come to Rovaniemi. I can assume that many of our other guests come specifically because of this festival.” ”You cannot expect us to repost information about all public events in Rovaniemi.” I would not have booked this stay if I would have known that there is a very loud music in the whole apartment all night long non-stop. I do not know if anyone would. Since the attitude towards guest is so ignoring - I do not recommend this host. After getting in touch with Airbnb support I had a message from the host where the host offered second night instead of 82% refund (we would simply go home from that airbnb, the apartment was untouched yet). I accepted the night just to stop stressing. After listening to many hours of loud terrible noise I had a bad head-ache and a bad sleep. I would love to go home and regret making a booking. *it took us 1 hour to find parking outside before we checked-in. We parked on the river shore. Cleanlyness big minus: around toilet all walls in urine, dust on window floors and corners (non-professional cleaning) Hospitality non-professional. Host is interested in getting money, not in providing a nice and responsible service.
