Harris Resort Barelang Batam

Everything is good.

The room is spacious but the toilet sink has very small space to put toiletries. The sink mirror is also facing the wardrobe mirror which is quite scary.

I would like to give thanks and a BIG thumbs up to all the staff I met at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. My 4-year-old daughter really enjoyed her stay and loved chatting with the buggy driver, the staff working at RockSalt, and the bellboy who helped us with our bulky luggage. We stayed for 3 nights and ended up extending for another night because my daughter didn’t want to go home. I was surprised by the staff who popped up at our door with a birthday cake for my 40th birthday. I prefer this location over the Nongsa area. The stunning view facing Barelang Bridge was beautifully amazing. The staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely be back for more.

I have always patronise Harris Resort in Waterfront and decided to visit their latest one in Barelang. It was nostalgic, clean, lots of activities and food. Staff will buggy you wherever you want. If anything, the location was far from town (if you prefer to go out), staff might struggle to understand english, so there was a lot of confusion down at rock salt beach club when the live bbq session starts. But overall, super nice stay to relax without the noise of the city.

Bringing my siblings and parents the next time I come. Good for corporate events as well.

Service is 10/10 and the room has a nice ambiance. We just feel that there’s lack of amenities that are live/available..

Check-in - Very fast and staff were very welcoming Rock Salt Beach Club - We love the drinks! Since some of the items in the menu doesn’t specify the ingredients, we always disturb the staff and asked them. But they were very patient in telling us the ingredients. 10 stars for the wonderful service! And their prawn soup was phenomenal! Harris Cafe - Breakfast buffet was okay. But I think Harris Batam Center was better. - Dinner menu looks good. But when we received the dishes, it was disappointing. Chicken & Fish were not cooked properly. It was still raw. However, Staff were very apologetic and their customer service recovery was topnotch! Jetski and Banana Boat - Our experience was super FUN-tastic! We loved it! Our guide was so professional and prioritized safety above everything else. He also took a lot of videos and pictures of us during the activity. Rooms - There’s some issues with our toilet flush. Bedside lights were also not working. Hopefully they can replace them. It would be better also if they provide bottled waters instead of a jug. It feels more safe in that sense. Check-out - They said that there’s no 12 noon shuttle back to Batam Center. But they accommodated us. So we were very happy! Final Verdict - Everything is outstanding except Harris Cafe that really needs to improve! :) Service is exceptional in all departments! Will definitely come back again.

It’s very spacious resort and good for families with kids. The services are convenient and they have buggy to bring you around within the resort if you don’t like to walk. The pools area is the best. Just suggestions for few areas of improvements: 1) too many flies and mosquitoes. It would be good to have insects repellent sprayed in every cleaning schedule 2) the toilet got sewage smell and drainage seems not really good. The main area which the hotel should look into is the quality and the facilities at the spa. The massage and wellness centre is not to the quality/standard of a hotel/resort at all. If you are thinking to relax and get massage, go get somewhere else. Not the one in this resort.
