Sorell Hotel City Weissenstein

Very good stay. Convenient to sights, restaurants and shopping. Five minute walk from the train station. Good WiFi. Excellent shower. Quiet rooms, fine breakfast. Quite happy to have daily room keeping, which is not offered everyplace these days.

Were stayed 12 days traveling Switzerland on the scenic trains and this hotel has been by far the friendliest and best appointed hotel we have stayed in so far. From initial greeting with ice cream to checkout with a bottle of water and a cappuccino you couldn’t ask for more. Beautiful air conditioned room. Highly recommend

This hotel is very nicely situated. Very close to shopping and the train station but tucked away enough to be away from heavy traffic. The room is comfortable and spacious. Hotel breakfast is very good as well, and has a homey feel as well. They make your coffee go order as well as offer eggs and meats to order for breakfast. This hotel has a nice elevator but know that when entering you will have to carry your luggage up a short flight of stairs to get to reception. The front desk closes up at 10 pm and the outside doors lock at that time as well. You can however open the door with your key card. Just remember to have the card on you! Overall very nice hotel and very good service! Highly recommend.

Oh, what a great hotel! Very conveniently located (near the train station). The staff is superbe nice and sympathic. The rooms are newly renovated and very stylish and clean. The breakfast is very varied and tasty. Our stay was great from A-Z. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

A boutique hotel. Small but clean. Front desk was helpful. Good dining options available in the area. Wanted to give 4 star but changed mind after taking shower. Drains in the shower room didn’t work. Area outside of the shower room was quickly flooded after taking shower for 10 mins.

This is a very nice hotel close to the city center. Clean and warm. Even though it has parking space I didn’t know that is chargeable. I fount it out in the check out. Fresh products in the breakfast. Friendly staff. Overall a very good experience.

Very convenient localization above 300 m from the train station, not faraway from the old town and Olma (20 minutes walking). Free public transport ticket was provided on arriving. Rooms are modern; 306 even big but extremely noisy because the construction in the nearby building. According my previous experience I won’t call it boutique hotel - it is no charming, romantic, etc - too modern, without any local accent. Breakfast is good but very limited, including variety, number exposed ingredients (only few sliced of ham, 2-3 yogurts, dry eggs or lack of any even) - typical Swiss; unfortunately the same I saw in other hotels in St Gallen like Einstein, Oberwaid or my favorite Radisson. No sauna, no gym, no pool. Extremely friendly, professional young team - thanks for your hospitality.
