I'm disappointed and frustrated by my recent experience at the Harmon House hotel in Brussels. Before booking, I took the initiative to call reception specifically to inquire about spa access. I was assured that it was included in the room price, which was a key factor in my decision to choose this hotel. Imagine my dismay upon arrival when I was informed that spa access would cost an additional 70 euros for myself and my child. This unexpected charge not only contradicted the information I was given but also significantly increased our expenses. I can't help but feel misled, as I had relied on the hotel staff's assurance when making my reservation. Furthermore, I noticed a discrepancy regarding the parking situation. The hotel advertised on-site parking for 20 euros per day, but in reality, guests must use a public parking facility in an adjacent building at a higher rate of 25 euros daily. This additional cost, while seemingly small, adds to my overall frustration with the accuracy of the information provided. These experiences have left me questioning the transparency of this hotel's advertising practices. It appears that crucial details are either misrepresented or omitted, potentially leading guests to incur higher costs than initially expected. This lack of clarity is not only disappointing but also erodes trust in this establishment. I hope the management of this hotel can understand my frustration and appreciate the importance of providing accurate information to potential guests.
