I think a lot of the reviews are correct. When you first walk in you think it's a bit dated but it's so immaculately clean, the staff are so lovely, attentive and even funny that you soon don't notice the decor. This hotel has everything you need, clean rooms, bar, quiet area, outside area. It's very central to shops and bus station in St Helier. Buses are cheap and for us the best way to get around the island. I would recommend the round the Island tour at the beginning of your holiday to get your barings. Eeeeee, our driver/guide was amazing, carnt remember his name but he was from Madera. He was clear, very clear infact, so knowledgeable, he talked the whole of the day, we learnt such alot. I want to give a special mention to our waitress Tila, she is super efficient and a lovely person. The only thing I think would have enhanced our stay was a more varied menu, not keen on "dinners " every day. However you only get what you pay for and this holiday was very reasonable. Thankyou Hotel Norfolk.
