The hotel is very conveniently located just by Salzburg station. Bus r 2 connects it to the airport. Good area with restaurants and shops very close. 15/20 minutes walk to all the main attractions. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff nice and helpful. The common areas of the hotel are modern and clean. There's a room for the luggage if you need to keep it before checking in or after checking out. The rooms were spacious and clean. So is the bathroom. The breakfast was very good, the breakfast room has a lovely view of the city. The only complain we have is that the room was very hot and the shower head bracket didn't work.

Near the train station, it takes 6-8 minutes to walk; there is no refrigerator or kettle in the room
The operation at the front desk will be slow, so you need to wait patiently.
On the first day of check-in, I found that the bath towel was dirty. I wanted to take it out and change it, but the front desk had to check in for a group, so I gave it to them the next day. Since I didn't plan to do room cleaning, I asked them to leave the bath towel at the front desk and wait until they returned to the hotel. I asked them to get it, but it was delayed until the afternoon of the third day.
But I'm also very grateful that they were willing to let me store my luggage for two days after checking out to go to Hallstatt.
The room has a simple style. The design of the bathroom is a little strange to me, because the glass door that separates dry and wet areas has no door handle on the inside, making it difficult to close the door.

Arrived on 11.06.2023 at around 3 am. Sent an email before hand that we would be arriving at said time via train. When we got to the hostel, check in counter was not manned with sign to call reception phone. Tried calling phone number several times it did not connect, when it got through it went straight to voice mail. Been waiting for more than half an hour at 3 am, tired and exhausted from the journey when a group of drunk men entered the lobby and was gaining access to the bar which was also unmanned. They went behind the counter, opening the fridge with beers, it was only then when a very sleepy, exhausted and unapologetic staff appeared. Check in process took a long time since she even had to check if the room was ready, a room I already paid in advance for to reserve it since I knew we would be arriving after 6 pm - their cut off time for room reservation of free cancellation bookings.

I have nothing but accolades for this hotel. 1) location - walk from the hotel to most everything you want to go to (yes, it may be about a mile, but you’re on vacation, and you could do with a little exercise, couldn’t you). 2) Konstantina - at check in - welcomed us with humor, practical advice. and kindness 3) rooms were gigantic by European standards, and clean 4) the fitness center is fantastic

We were on our way to Greece and needed a place to stay the night. This hotel is just next to the highway and next to a McDonald's. So you have to eat and don't lose time through the city. They offer a parking space without charging as well and the check in was possible till late in the evening. The price is very good, the room nothing special but exactly what we needed. The pillows could be more comfortable but otherwise nothing to complaint.

Die Zimmer sind schön und sehr ruhig. Das Negative: Wir hatten über die Plattform Trip.com gebucht und dort war das Frühstück mit 13 Euro angegeben, das man vor Ort bezahlen könne. Im Hotel verlangte man aber 19 Euro, obwohl ich die Webseite von Trip.com vorzeigte. Die Dame an der Rezeption meinte, die Fa. Trip.com wäre ein externer Anbieter und man müsse sich nicht an deren Preisen orientieren. Einen Nachlaß auf das Frühstück wollte sie nicht geben, da auch das Frühstück von einer externen Firma geliefert werde und das Hotel keinen Einfluß auf deren Preisgestaltung habe. Erhebt sich die Frage, wozu überhaupt noch jemand in der Rezeption steht, wenn man für nichts zuständig ist.

Booked this hotel for our ski holiday as only 60-90 mins from many ski resorts. Breakfast is amazing with lots of choice and every day had scrambled eggs and bacon plus many other options. Bus too opposite with number 4 bus running about every 20 mins until about 2230 hours. Cost for single is €3 euros. (Only take cash on buses). They also offer a day ticket for €4.50 but not sure if you have to buy this from a machine as didn’t offer on bus. You can buy a return ticket! We never had an issue with parking although the car park was often busy as the Sushi restaurant is very popular. There is also a Chinese buffet restaurant opposite called Huy Cook and Eat. ({€25). Food was good. They offered lots of raw fish and I wasn’t aware that they actually cook it for you! Rooms were cleaned every day and shower was awesome. I would have given this 5 stars but some of the reception staff weren’t very helpful. Eg. Not knowing any information about basic stuff like the buses!

Stay one nite at this hotel on our way to Salzburg. It’s located at an exit to a highway. There’s a Burger King next door and Adidas factory outlet also nearby. Our room for 2 pax is small. Cleanliness is also questionable as we found dusts and furs in the room. Facilities in the room is very limited. No fridge, no boiler to make hot water and no wardrobe. You will need to go down to the coffee house to get hot water. Breakfast is quite good though. Overall, quite disappointing stay.

GGuest UserThis is probably the best place we have ever stayed! Alex and Iris are great hosts, friendly and very helpful. Everything is perfect. The rooms are spotless, the toiletries luxurious, bed very comfortable, great to have tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was lovely, great choice, lots of homemade and local produce and my husband said it was the best omelette he'd eaten. Lots of information on things to do in Salzburg. 20 minute easy walk or quick bus ride into the old town to get to Christmas markets and other museums and attractions. Easy to get to from the airport. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Alex and Iris!

GGuest UserOur room was overlooking the a huge city park just a few minutes walk to the old city. Amazing views and charm are everywhere In Salzburg. The hotel staff was super courteous, our room was enormous with tons of storage and private toilet area separate from the rest of the bathroom. The breakfast was extensive and included, everything from fresh fruits, meats, breads, omelette station, mimosas, coffee bar, etc. Like the grand breakfasts the JW Marriott and Ritz used to have before covid.

GGuest UserWhen I was looking for a hotel for a 1-night stay in Salzburg, I stumbled upon the listing for the Hyperion and took a chance. I wasn't familiar with the Hyperion hotel brand and didn't know much about Salzburg. Now, I have fallen under the spell of both the hotel and the city. The Hyperion is a fairly new hotel and it is in pristine shape. The room is rather generously sized compared to most of the European hotels I have stayed in thus far. The bathroom was particularly good -- with an American-style shower that featured both a handheld wand and a rain shower head. The separate water closet was a plus. The technology in the room (especially the lighting tech) is impressive, if not slightly confusing. Nice touch to have the Nescafe machine and the Mozart chocolates. The bed was very comfortable. The location, next to Mirabell Gardens, was great. The hotel staff was helpful. We arrived early, and the front desk gave us tips on how to spend our afternoon, drawing out some local attractions on the map and suggesting we get a Salzburg card (we already had them). They also gave us a recommendation for dinner, but we were turned away at the restaurant, which was full. In stead, we dined at the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite nice. Service was solid. Breakfast is a tad expensive, but they do offer a wide assortment of breakfast items (hot and cold) as well as eggs made to order. Champagne was also available for mimosas. Nice touch.

GGuest UserWe booked the Mirabellplatz Hotel because of its central location. The hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were as requested. The front desk staff were quite helpful. We decided to forgo the breakfast at the hotel and asked for advice regarding a nearby bakery. They were helpful in directing us to one just around the corner. The hotel does not have parking but there is an under ground parking gargae in the next block. The Congress garage is somewhat expensive but very convenient.

GGuest UserSo many choices and option in Salzburg, we eventually decide on NH - 1) it has connecting rooms for family 2) near to old town 3) beautiful and modern room 4) onsite parking and most important very reasonable rate compare to the rest. Totally satisfy with our stay despite the lack of views from our ”roof top” rooms. Base on the price we pay there is no better Hotel in Salzburg.

The cleaning staff of the room still has a lot of room for improvement.
The breakfast staff tries hard but could be trained better.
The reception staff is great.

The equipment of the rooms is very good.
Unfortunately there is no wellness area.
Parking is a problem and there is no cooperation with a parking garage.
The breakfast buffet is very generous and I had one of my favorite tomato omelets - it was perfect!

GGuest UserThe bus to Salzburg is only 15 minutes away, but there are several buses going at the same time, and Hellbrunn or Cable Kata are both on the mountain, so if you have a timetable to go there, you can stay in the hotel, especially if you travel from Take the Flix or Leo bus in Prague or elsewhere. This is the direction from the station to the city, so you can find accommodation earlier because the accommodation is earlier than the city. The staff are friendly and it rains a lot in Salzgan, so I rented an umbrella from the hotel and used it well. The disadvantage is that it is air-conditioned, so I chose this type of accommodation, which is usually not what we think it is, but a fan-like device.
Please note that air conditioning is installed. However, it rained on the day we went, so that air conditioning was not needed. Opening the window and blowing the wind is much cooler than opening the air conditioner. You can open the window, because there are no mosquitoes, it doesn't matter. In addition to the disappointment with the air conditioning, the price is cheaper than the accommodation in Salzburg, so you can take the bus.

Good value for money hotel. Very tasteful contemporary decor. Convenient location about 15 minutes level walk from railway station and about 15 minutes level walk to river/Schloss Mirabell and the Old Town on the other side of the river. Friendly/helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Would stay again. Hotel has a great system for checking in after hours, which we really appreciated, as our train was delayed, so a late arrival turned into a middle of the night one!

GGuest UserExcellent services. Also, the lobby is great and includes a kids zone with toys, a piano, books area and the dinnin room. The is a garden too. The room is big and confortable. It's well located and has a great view. We used the parking and was good. You can go to the center just walking. Salzburg is beautiful also.

Our family of five stayed here and found the property to be an excellent value, particularly as options for groups larger than four can be limited. It's an older, but charming property. The room included three single beds and one double bed, all of which were comfortable. Street parking was simple, the staff was helpful and on-site laundry was a bonus (small extra fee). The hotel is near a bus stop and the neighborhood offers convenient cafes, bars and restaurants.
