Tru by Hilton San Antonio North

Hotel is near many restaurants including In and Out. Tru was very clean. The breakfast was one of the best I've have in a hotel where its included. They had pancakes, eggs, bacon, hot oatmeal with all the topics, waffle makers, cereals, and amazing juice options.

They were overbook had no rooms for us some of us had book rooms months ago ,we had a wedding party

Breakfast was delicious Front desk crew all was nice people In-N-Out a walk distance away

I have stayed at this hotel before and it has been an acceptable experience. Tonight was different. First of all, a key card nor a digital key could be made for me because of some computer/server malfunction. Next, instead of letting into my room, I waited 30-40 minutes in the lobby while the clerk was on the phone talking to someone about the problem only to find out she was talking to the wrong person. Finally, she had to come up with me and another family to let us in our rooms. This is unacceptable.

This is a Hilton brand that covers the mid-scale hotel market, BUT the accommodations are bare minimum and almost spartan. The hotel has platform beds instead of box springs. The supposed "landing zone" where guests can place their luggage is so small you will not see it. NO dresser or cabinets and the guests just need to hang their clothes and belongings. The width of the room was barely 10 feet if that. Instead of a desk you get a portable chair attached to a table, This property is not for families with children. It might be suitable for a lone traveler who is a minimalist. The good experience was the staff who were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast area was nice and very well organized.

This was a very nice hotel and the room was super nice. We found it very comfortable and pleasant. Now I will say that we drove past the turn in, because it looks like the area is still developing. There are a good choice of eating places, however, if you go across the street, you can’t just drive back into the hotel easily. Other than that no complaints. Staff was super helpful. Ready to assist.

It is a really nice hotel with a great breakfast served. My ONLY big issue with our latest stay was that we did not have warm or hot water to our room - had the water run for easly 7-10 min but ended up having to take a COLD shower - and I hate COLD showers! The staff apologized but sadly that did not fix the cold shower issue. The shower as well as the sink/basin in the bathroom did not have hot or even luke warm water - sadly and for that reason I will not go stay there again. Funny how it is, you per accidentally break something, they make you pay (they take a security deposit) but IF their stuff does not work and you have to take a cold shower early in the morning, it's tuff-luck for you - no discount for the inconvenience!
