I am big on reading reviews before going ahead with a holiday resort so I felt it was only fair to give a honest and fare review as I found some reviews are not very helpful. To start I am just back from an all inclusive week At Plazamar serenity apartments, accompanied by two older children and sister. We had two separate bookings and two separate apartments each, both rooms where spacious, clean, the beds are SO comfortable and all rooms have a fridge/cooking area/toaster/kettle/microwave, rooms had amazing air con that could be adjusted with a remote. The rooms also have a pool out sofa bed making the most of the space and could fit another two people in the room due to this. The bathrooms have powerful showers and towels were replaced every second day. The pools split into three sections, one strictly for little ones, with two small water slides, the bigger areas go from shallow to deep end, the shallow end has a water slide. The pools open at 10am (when breakfast ends). Lots of loungers available around the pool. The only down side about the pool was the life guards rules around music and drink/foods around the pool. Very strict and would approach people if they had music playing of eating/drinking in a normal glass or cup rather than the 1 euro cups that the staff issue people with. There is also no information up about the 1 euro cup rule and this led to confusion on the day of arrival as our party gave over four cups at the bar and did not get money or a token back to evidence this and there for was asked to pay a further 4 euro for more cups when we later returned to the bar but we stood our ground as nobody made us aware. Some staff are lovely others are more reserved and blunt. Don’t take it personal! Our family felt the food was very nice, we had breakfast lunch and dinner and we even ordered bar snacks in between which is free if you are all inclusive. Food options for the bar snacks are hot dogs, burger, chips, salads, onion rings , pizza, ice cream, slushies and a couple of other things! Breakfast has options for eggs three ways, bacon sausages, beans, crepes, churros, fruit, cereals, nuts, seeds and dried fruits, pastries. Yoghurt and much more, lunch was often chips, pizza, fish, cakes, chicken scewers, a lot of options the list could go on, there is a salad station to creat your own salads, a lot of fresh breads and cake selections. I did see some gluten free options too. Dinner always had meats and fish cooked fresh on the grill, which you can wait for a fresh one if heat is a priority. There was always options for fussy eaters like chicken nuggets, pasta and sauces to add yourself. The drinks are all great options too. Sangria/wines and beer on tap, fizzy and fresh juice options and a Nescafé coffee machine. You won’t go hungry that is for sure. The only down side for dinner was that the birds often hovered around the dining area. The staff are very attentive and clean up after your meals very quickly. The only
