Hotel Boutique Bon Repos - Adults Only

I’ll preface my review with we got our room for a great price as we booked quite last minute so my experience reflects that. The location is 5 min walk to the beach, bars and restaurants but tucked away so no loud revellers passing at night! The room we were in was likely the most basic they have. It was small without a balcony (or fridge) but it was clean and the beds were very comfortable plus good air con (which was a godsend after spending all day in the humid temps!). We will upgrade for a balcony next time as drying wet items without it was a faff. Staff were friendly and accommodating however make sure to use your house keeping sign should you want your room cleaned as we forgot and had to request fresh towels (which reception were happy to provide for us) The pool area was our favourite by far, it’s well maintained and super quiet. There was always a sun bed available and plenty of shade. The only con here is access to the actual pool isn’t till 11 which is quite late really but it closes at 7pm. Plenty of soft and alcoholic drink options, including cocktails at the bar and they also do food (like pizza, chips etc) but we didn’t try it so I can’t comment on it. Breakfast was included but it’s a very small selection of items. Bacon, scrambled eggs, beans or tomatoes, cereals, breads, fruit, cold meats, cheese, tea coffee and fruit juices. We personally loved the breakfast that was included as it was enough for us but for those used to big hotels, you may be disappointed. They have a luggage store room that has a shower which was fab as we had a late flight back but you can request a late checkout for an additional charge (€20/25pp) Beach/pool towels are available but require a refundable €10 deposit. We just kept the same one for the full trip. Overall we had a very pleasant time and hope to return soon!

We had an excellent stay having been delayed and the 24hour reception available here really helps. Having no lift is an issue but the guy on reception took our cases to our room … and the manager Georgina arranged for them to be collected when we left. The place is spotless with everyday service. You have to go prepared with a multiple adaptor plug as sockets are at a premium. The aircon is good and the shower acceptable. Breakfast is plentiful and there was a good choice of fruit. As is often the case in Spain 🇪🇸 the bacon was underdone. 8/10 though . The pool area is 5* and the bar service there to 6pm excellent. Recent price reviews give you very realistic drink rates and we could always get a sun bed. Towels are free although a €10 deposit per person is required. The manager Georgina is a very positive person and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is quiet, request a room with a balcony. Alot of stairs internally, be prepared. Staff very pleasant, hard working and helpfull. Manager Georgia so approachable and accommodating. Isabella amazing and such a hard worker. Cleaning staff and lifeguard Lisa, helpfull too. If you want a relaxing break right 5 mins from beach this is the place. Breakfast was good, a little room for improvement. Could have been more variety and more fruit options.

Great location, peaceful and quiet. And the view from our balcony was fantastic.

We spent a week in Bon Repos in June. The hotel is handily located about 2mins walk from the beach. The hotel was very clean but basic, but that's what I think you should be expecting from a 3*. The breakfast was decent, not a lot of choice but it has cooked full English and continental options which should probably keep most guests happy. The pool area was quiet, so if you don't want to pay for sunbeds, or lie on sand on one of the beaches, there was always space by the pool. I don't think we saw the sun loungers more than about 50% full. Lots of restaurants nearby for food. Some bars as well, but we didn't find it too loud. In terms of cons we paid for one of the deluxe rooms and for about half of our stay the jacuzzi was out of order. The walls are also very thin and our neighbour for the last couple of nights had a bit of a snoring problem... Very disappointed with the quality of the room and general 'tired' condition of the hotel and grounds.

We have been going to the Bon Repose for the last 6 or 7 years only missing 2022 due to the pandemic. It has generally been excellent but over the last few years it has started to look in need of a refresh and it has lost some of its relaxed atmosphere we enjoyed so much. Still an excellent hotel just needing some TLC to restore it to its best
