The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. This hotel has a nice, friendly, and efficient staff. The rooms are spacious and have all what you need. The view from the window is very cute if you are in a high floor. The breakfast is good too. Location is perfect, just 250m from metro station Alcántara and 1 block from Apoquindo avenue where many buses pass by, and the region is very beautiful and quiet. The prices are very good for Las Condes quarter.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely comfortable beds with more luxurious linen than usual. Hot showers. 3 elevators so never any waiting for one. Large continental breakfast (no hot food). Located on street with lots of restaurants. Bank 2 blocks away. Perhaps has soundproofing since there was no noise through the night.

Beautifully appointed and luxurious. Rooms with all amenities, ironing board, iron, hair styling tools, coffee maker, complementary water ! Quiet at night. Centrally located to restaurants and a shopping area and metro.

I gave this hotel 3 stars because of its location and friendly service in the breakfast room . We checked in the evening about 9 pm and the desk clerk knew little to no English . Luckily I was traveling with someone who spoke Spanish but even he had trouble understanding the clerk. He kept asking for our exit papers for leaving Chile . Until he showed us a copy of our PDI form did we understand what he was talking about . The carpets are well worn in the hallways and the rooms , the furniture is also well worn.There was no view except our room looked into apartments across the alleyway . The welcome drink was limited to about 3 choices and again the bartender knew no English , besides having no personality. The breakfast room was pleasant and had average choices … the young lady working the breakfast room recooked our eggs as they were very runny and not edible , she remembered us the following day and Immediately had our eggs the way we preferred. She was very pleasant ! The day desk clerk spoke very good English and was very helpful storing ourluggage as we had a late pick up to the airport . The hotel was clean and had large open spaces . Very centrally located , close to the shopping center inside Gran Costanera Center , the largest and tallest building in South America . Lots of restaurants and bars close by , very nice neighborhood. We felt safe .

4,5/5,00 O Best Western Estacíon Central é um ótimo hotel. Ele possui quartos amplos e é bem confortável. O café da manhã é servido até às 10h e é bem farto, conta com variedades de frutas, cereais, pães, frios, ovos e linguiça. Os funcionários são bem receptivos e atenciosos. Eles disponibilizam uma marmitinha de café da manhã (sache de café, chá,fruta, sanduíche, iogurte) para que você possa levar no dia dos passeios, basta solicitar até as 21h na recepção. A região realmente não é boa mas o hotel conta com seguranças a disposição caso precise esperar algum uber ou taxi do lado de fora. Foi bem tranquilo pedir carros de aplicativo tanto durante o dia quanto durante a noite. Próximo ao hotel há uma estação da Turbus (estação alameda) e tem um metrô do outro lado da rua
