I love the hotel! Very clean and good service! I recommend.

It was absolutely gorgeous here. Santorini is a very expensive place, but this hotel is one of the few 5* hotels that doesn’t hugely break the bank. It is spotless, modern & super spacious with lots of pools and beach access. We couldn’t fault our stay! Note that you can hear airplanes fly over but that’s the case with every single hotel in Kamari. We quite enjoyed seeing them though, didn’t affect us at all!

Stayed in the Costa grand hotel for the last five nights. This hotel is located at the end of the *****. the location is sensational. It’s right in front of the beach. There is a beautiful restaurant and bar and the rooms are excellent. We had a beachfront suite and it was spotlessly clean right in front of our swimming pool which was right in front right in front of the beach The staff are excellent in the bar. The reception welcome was incredible. The hotel arranged for a Mercedes to pick us up at the airport and bring us back next week. I would highly highly recommend this hotel we’re staying for five nights. I wish it was 10. I’ve just rebooked for September . This is a truly rated five star hotel congratulations to the management team. It’s a credit to you.

It is certainly laid out and run as a 5-star hotel. The grounds are pristine, it’s right on the beach and everything you need is here - at a price. There are some caveats; the hotel is located DIRECTLY under the inbound flight path into Santorini airport - the runway is maybe a kilometre north of the hotel directly in line with it. By the time the jets are over the Costa Grand, the wheels are down and you can wave at the passengers. The noise is extraordinary. Flights tend to start around 06:30 and can be as late as midnight. Private jet owners don’t seem to care about noise considerations, so they can fly in at any time. We arrived late due to major delays with Lousy Jet (great staff, rubbish flight management) and just made it into the restaurant before the kitchen closed. We were tired, a bit stressed and just needed some food. They were not too pleased to see us, but we were luckier than the couple who arrived after us, who were informed that the kitchen was now closed and no, you can’t just have a coffee. If we’d realised how many more welcoming restaurants and bars are so close, we’d have guided them there and probably joined them. To be fair, the food they served us was excellent. The breakfast arrangements are not too bad, but typical fare and the ‘hot’ food is on the cool side. Plenty of choice though. After day three, we headed into Kamari for breakfast (The Finch does an outstanding breakfast). The staff in the bar/restaurant area are a little edgy at times, and there is major emphasis on making sure you’ve paid for food/drinks, often before you’ve actually consumed them. In a 5-star hotel, we would expect a bit more trust shown towards the clientele. As for Kamari, it’s a lovely little place; a great seafront with many bars and restaurants and a good all round vibe - we’ll definitely come back. The people could not be more friendly and the town is spotless. We absolutely love the place and recommend it highly. We won’t be returning to the Costa Grand but we’ve already seen a number of hotel/apartment complexes that are more central, better value and far enough off the flight path to make things a whole lot quieter. We have traveled to many places and take pride in having a fair and balanced view of things. However, when you are paying 5-star prices, you expect something over and above. Olympic Holidays' small print does refer to 'some aircraft noise' when describing the Cost Grand, but believe us, it is a major issue. We have some videos of aircraft coming in to land, but only able to attach a still photo here. We did drop into the Polydefkis Hotel reception and a very helpful chap said we could book directly if we return to Kamira. It is much more central to Kamira and handy for everything. Worth checking out. The beaches are volcanic and quite gritty, but every restaurant along the front has its own, free sunbeds, with wooden walkways. Check out Zorba's or the Prince for excellent food, great service and great private

Having just returned from the Costa Grand on 22 June 24 I felt that I must add a review on Tripadvisor. This is a truly fabulous hotel. The rooms are modern and immaculately clean - fresh sheets and towels every day. The cleaning staff work hard and continuously on literally every part of the complex. The food is fantastic we went half board and I am so glad we made this decision. The buffet breakfast was amazing with such a variety of choice. The evening meal (again a buffet) was brilliant and catered for all tastes. Really high quality with not a burger or a chip in sight! The eating experience was made all the better because of the wonderful staff who simply couldn't do enough to assist - big shout out for Thanos the lovely restaurant manager. In fact all of the staff were so helpful and accommodating - as soon as a request was made it was dealt with immediately. The concierge Georgia is certainly worth speaking to should you want advice on a trip, or car hire or the local bus service - in fact anything - she was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. One aspect of this hotel which must be highlighted is its proximity to the Airport. The incoming flights are quite frequent and fly directly over the hotel. This does create a lot of noise which lasts for about 10 seconds - but clearly all potential travellers need to be aware of this. It certainly didn't spoil our holiday - in fact it was quite entertaining - and they don't operate during the night - so no sleep disturbance. The location was great - looking out over the beautiful sea whist eating breakfast - idyllic. The hotel is right on the beach (black sand), there are 7 pools and extremely comfortable sun beds. Super holiday.

The hotel was very clean and tidy and staff very friendly. The food for breakfast and lunch was average, unless you went for a la carte menu you wouldn’t know it was a 5 star hotel. We only stayed for 3 nights and it was fine as we were out exploring, but if I had come for longer or my honeymoon, I would be sorely disappointed as it’s directly under the flight path of the airport.

Beautiful laid out resort. There is a swiiming pool for every area which means that you never feel like its busy. Very clean. The hotel rooms are well appointed aswell.. The beach is clean with clear waters but isnt the beat to swim due to rocks. On a half board option, the meal is served so you are next to the beach which is stunning. The only issue is that on a half board basis, in our opion the food is only 3 star. Such a shame as everything else about the horltel is perfect.

The food hear is bad, unless you pay extra, we paid for a.5 star hotel and had better at 3 star, Poor very poor don't cone hear Unless you can come b and b And eat outside hotel Poor not a 5 star resort not a chance don't cone hear if you won't good food
