Not very good, choose Hanting as a day of excessive hotel, the room is very small, the box is open and there is no place to go, the room is very strange, there are small homestays nearby, there is a construction site next to it, I thought it would be very noisy to arrange on the other side, I didn’t expect it to be more noisy, It's a school that starts raising flags early in the morning and doing exercises.

This is my second time staying at the hotel. When I checked in for the first time, my elder’s golden gourd was left in the hotel. I found it when I got home. I immediately contacted the front desk of the hotel. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic to help find it and then sent it to my home by express delivery. . The elders in my family are very grateful to this hotel. When they came to Sanya again this time, they decided to stay at the Hanting Airport Hotel and even gave a red envelope to the front desk to express their gratitude! But the little girl at the front desk refused to accept it and just said that it was what they should do! These are indeed some very good quality kids! We are very satisfied with the store decoration, room hygiene, and the service of the pretty girl at the front desk! Breakfast is also very user-friendly. Because we have to catch a flight, breakfast can be opened in advance every time, and you can also take it away! It is indeed a very humane management! Recommend everyone to stay! The above is my real experience!

I often come to Sanya on business and travel with my family. The price of this newly opened Hanting hotel is similar to that of surrounding B&Bs, but the overall service is simply better than other hotels a few blocks away. The breakfast is great and the hotel also provides free pick-up and drop-off. The machine was used, and there were dozens of dollars left, which was a perfect score.

As always Sunshine Resort in Sanya is like a home always from home...but with better cooking :) From the warm welcome from Vanessa at the front desk...to all the cleaners, wait staff and pool staff..you are treated as a valued visitor. It is great to see the extra loung chairs at the pool and on the property above the beach and chairs and umbrellas on the beach...well done. A big benefit is the newly developed bosrdwalk that goes the entire lenght of the beach with plenty of food and drink. Also....although I do not have kids here..they always have entertainment on the holidays for the young ones. I will always return the the special...”Sunshine” in Sanya

The view is partially very beautiful (except for the extremely ugly buildings below and around the hotel). The location isn't directly on the beach but it's very close. Very nice location. It's close to all the shops as well. The facilities are nice, however, the bath robes I had were extremely worn, frayed and haggard. I definitely would not keep it in any hotel. The TV and bedside light were broken. These things should be easy to fix? I was in one of the more expensive rooms. This is just negligence and easily avoidable by the hotel. Customer service is very delightful. They did offer me free snacks and drinks upon arriving, in order to give more time to prepare the room. The snacks and fruit are in the photo. That was nice. I also came back to the hotel one day to find a birthday cake in my room. Quite delicious and very thoughtful. I really appreciated that. Very good gesture, thank you! If the price was cheaper I would go there again. However, there are better hotels around for this price. Still, it's very nice.

It was my second time staying in this hotel. Both experiences were very good. They upgraded my room this time, I really appreciate that. The room was spacious and comfortable with sea-view and a private garden. The breakfast is very good, I recommend to include it in your booking. Check in and check out process is fast and easy.

There were definitely some positives and negatives about this hotel. First off, I will say the staff was very friendly. They would greet you with a smile wherever they saw you on property. I ate dinner at the poolside restaurant a few times and I enjoyed my food as well. Some negatives were that the hallway itself smelt moldy and nasty. Could be due to the carpeting, which was in bad condition, or all the old wood decor or a combo of both. My room smelt the same. The shower smelt like urine and some of the wood in the bathroom was rotting. I guess due to continuous exposure to water. I also didn’t like the fact that there was little accessibility for a stroller. Maybe I didn’t see it, but, to get down to the pool and most of the restaurants I only saw a staircase which was inconvenient to take my baby around. I did like the fact that it was right across the road from the beach, but, also somewhat far from the airport. Another positive is that they had a nice play area for the kids. My baby loved playing there. Everyone is different. Maybe you will enjoy this hotel. That is just a bit of my honest review.

Fifth time choosing this hotel while traveling to Sanya, used to come with friends, and now for business trips. The hotel has changed a lot over the years, and it was kinda going very low quality in terms of amenities and services few months ago. But they have made recent improvements, like the wooden deck that finally had been renovated and look nice and clean now. I was disappointed at first at my arrival since the staff was not welcoming at all, not even smiling or helping with luggages, but then Johnson took over and has been amazingly helpful! His English was great, and he upgraded my room for one with the nicest view over the pool and bay, which was really appreciated. Amber at the reception has also been a great host, great English and attitude, she helped me with my late check out. These two really made my stay better. Overall this hotel is always a good and quiet choice. Sadly they removed their western food options for the restaurant and room service, so not ideal for foreigners. But breakfast is good and got all the options. I’ll definitely come back, since to me it’s still one of the most beautiful hotel in the area, but hoping for some more improvements to take it back to the level it used to be.

The JW Marriott Hotel Sanya is truly an exceptional place to stay. The hotel's location is superb, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and extremely comfortable. The service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any request. The facilities are excellent, including a beautiful swimming pool and a well-equipped fitness center. The dining options are diverse and delicious. This hotel is a vestige of its former glory. It’s clean and tidy, but could use an upgrade. Facilities are ok, even though swimming pools are not all open. It’s quite disappointing and the hotel’s pictures do not represent the current conditions. Location is amazing, and while swimming in front of the hotel is technically forbidden, everybody does! Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Easy access to the beach (closer than most hotels in Yalong Bay). Budget friendly though so it might be worth it for the location. You’ve been warned!
