Guest UserThis was a 'lie-flat' vacation with the kids. I booked a 3-day, 2-night king-bed package during the 618 sale and upon arrival, we were upgraded to an 88-square-meter room. It had a garden view, which was actually nice because we couldn't see the construction of the Lijing project. Anyway, my little one spent every day either at the kids' club or in the pool, so whether it had a sea view or not made little difference. Mom seized the opportunity to pop over to the adjacent Hainan Duty-Free. The InterContinental has its own shortcut through the construction site to the duty-free shop, which is super convenient, and there's a 10% discount on regular-priced clothes and such, which is pretty good and saves a bit of money. The hotel has daily activities you can join; just book the starred ones a day in advance. The kids had a blast every day, busy from morning till night. In the evening, there were more activities and an iron flower performance. After completing the games and checking in, they even got gifts! With Dad's help, they collected a pile of toys, which made them so happy! Our butler, Bobby, was available for any questions, and it was easy to get fresh towels after swimming or grab slippers. We stayed on the second floor, and the auntie who served us was always smiling and very nice – big praise for her!

This is my third stay at Banyan Tree this year, and I opted for the courtyard room this time. The courtyard accommodation is truly excellent, offering great privacy. Since we had a large group with many requests, I must once again commend the butler for their tireless assistance. They helped us confirm meal delivery times, departure times, and how to handle external deliveries. Honestly, there's nothing more to say – if I'm in Sanya, I'll definitely be coming back here!

This is my second time in Haitang Bay and fourth time in Sanya, and the Grand Hyatt is definitely number one on my personal ranking.
1️⃣ Our butler, Diana, added me on WeChat the night before I left for Sanya and gave me all the information about the Grand Hyatt. Check-in was seamless, and because I had all the hotel info beforehand, taking the kids to eat, swim, and enjoy the sea was super easy.
2️⃣ On the second day of our stay, my child took a call on their smartwatch by the pool and casually left it on a lounge chair. We didn't realize until we got back to the room. I immediately contacted Diana, our butler, who promptly found the watch and personally delivered it to our room. My child's sadness turned to joy, and I can't express my gratitude enough.
3️⃣ The hotel breakfast is amazing! The Zao Po Cu rice noodles are a must-try – truly a hotel specialty. There's an incredible variety of fruits, over a dozen kinds, which our family from the north absolutely loved. The breakfast ice cream is high quality, and the pastries are both beautiful and delicious. All the juices are freshly squeezed, and there are also over a dozen toppings for yogurt and Qingbuliang. Plus, children under 12 eat breakfast for free! High quality and great value – the Grand Hyatt really knows what it's doing.
4️⃣ The hotel and our butler Diana gifted us wine, fruit, and coconuts, catering to both adults and children. Very thoughtful.
5️⃣ The hotel staff are exceptionally well-trained. Every employee we encountered greeted us proactively, and even when asking for directions, we received detailed and friendly assistance.
6️⃣ The children's activities are also excellent, at least for my 6-year-old daughter. She didn't miss a single morning activity, and the outdoor lawn activities were very engaging. In the evening, she saw iron flower performance and fire pots for the first time and absolutely loved them.
7️⃣ The family pool has changing rooms, which is fantastic! We would finish the children's activities and go straight to these changing rooms to change into our swimsuits, then head either to the sea or the pool, without having to go back and forth to our room. After playing by the sea, we'd use the changing room to shower, change into clean clothes, and then go for a buffet dinner – perfect.
Our butler, Diana, consistently monitored our stay and promptly responded to and resolved any issues we had. A huge thumbs up! 👍
Looking back, I feel like our stay at the Grand Hyatt was too short. I wish I had shortened our time at the subsequent hotel and stayed longer here. Next time I'm in Sanya, it'll be straight to the Grand Hyatt.

Stayed at the Sheraton Yalong Bay for 1 night with my 10-year-old, and it definitely exceeded our expectations – a big thumbs up!
The highlight for my child was the pool. The kids' area has slides and paddleboards, and the water is clean and not too deep. She'd spend two to three hours in there every day and wouldn't want to leave. I'd just relax on a nearby sun lounger, sip on a coconut, and watch her play – it was so peaceful and enjoyable for me too.
The hotel's lawn and beach are truly beautiful. The lawn is large and very green, leading directly to the sea. In the evening, when it wasn't too hot, my child would run wild on the grass, and I'd slowly walk to the beach to feel the waves. The sand was incredibly fine, and the sea was blue; every photo I took looked great.
I have to specifically praise the seafood BBQ buffet dinner! The oysters, scallops, and prawns were all grilled fresh, and my daughter loved the oysters. There was also live music, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. My child swayed to the music, and we all had a wonderful time eating.
The service was also excellent. The front desk staff noticed we had a child and proactively offered kids' toothbrushes and slippers. The room was clean, making for a comfortable stay. All in all, we were very satisfied with this trip. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Sanya, and it offers good value for money. Highly recommended for families with kids!
Oh, and we were also very happy with the complimentary travel photoshoot! The retouched photos turned out really well.

WangyingI chose this hotel for a family trip. The craft workshops are excellent, both the free and paid ones, and the staff are very dedicated – kudos to them. The numerous pools are great for kids. There's a noodle place where the tomato and beef brisket noodles are delicious, with fresh hand-pulled noodles, though the noodle thickness could be improved; it's odd for a hotel of this caliber. The baking activity was also great, with ample ingredients. My first sandwich-making experience was good, the staff were very attentive, and it tasted nice. However, during the second session (cake making), I mentioned I was catching a flight and didn't need it packed, just cut to eat. To my surprise, they said there was no knife! How can a restaurant not have a knife? What did they use to cut the sandwiches yesterday? They insisted I pack it, so I ended up cutting it myself. I asked for a plate and fork, and it took ages for a response, even though they were right there on a nearby table, so I just grabbed them myself. I don't know what the staff were doing. Overall, it's a very good hotel, but this incident really put a damper on my mood.

Guest UserThe entire service was attentive, meticulous, and thoughtful. Someone helped with luggage at the lobby entrance, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The room was clean and spacious, and the outdoor balcony was convenient for drying clothes. Downstairs, there was a swimming pool and a children's splash pool, which kept the kids happily entertained. The breakfast selection was rich, and I particularly enjoyed the noodle soup. The hotel is very close to the beach, less than a 10-minute walk away. Everything went smoothly and pleasantly. Many thanks to the butler for the considerate service and little gift.

Guest UserIt felt like the hotel mainly relied on the butler to fix issues, and the concierge service was decent, but everything else was just so-so.
When checking in, the front desk staff gave off a vibe like they couldn't care less if we stayed or not. I immediately wanted to leave a bad review, but the butler appeared just in time, so I held back.
Later, after I reported a strange smell in the room, the butler proactively arranged a room change. Around 10 PM, we moved to the new room and requested an extra child bed rail. Here's the key point – the attendant was a middle-aged woman. Seeing her age, I even helped her lift the mattress to install the bed rail, but she had a sour face the entire time. When she left after installing it, she even knocked the 'do not disturb' sign off the doorknob and didn't pick it up; I had to pick it up myself. Even worse, before she left, she blurted out, ”If you want to change again, there are no more rooms, alright?” I was baffled. You're just a room attendant, do you decide whether there are rooms available? Such disruptive comments only make guests feel your impatience and complaints, doing nothing to solve the problem, but instead escalating tensions.
As it turned out, the new room had other problems, and we were tired and couldn't be bothered to move again, so we just went back to our original room. Because of the room change hassle, the next morning we realized we were missing two sets of dental kits, one adult and one child. We called to have them delivered, and here's another key point – first, there was a ring, which we thought was the doorbell, but when we opened the door, no one was there. Then it rang a second time, and we realized it was the in-room phone. We answered and were told the dental kits had been delivered and left outside the door. We opened the door again only to find them simply placed on the ground. We were in the room; couldn't you have rung the doorbell and handed them to us? Or if you prefer to leave them at the door, fine, but these are items meant for our mouths! Even if they have an outer package, couldn't you at least put them in a basket or something? What's the deal with just putting them on the ground?!

ZhubuxuwanA slow-paced island getaway, where I found an abundance of warmth at the Mangrove. Strolling through the lush, shaded lawn by the sea, listening to the ocean's whispers was incredibly therapeutic. The rooftop helipad offered a unique viewing experience, providing a magnificent and romantic panoramic view of the azure bay from above. Our butler, Ella, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, responding instantly to any requests during our stay and thoughtfully arranging a professional photoshoot to capture the beautiful scenery of our trip. The hotel's overall environment is clean and elegant, with excellent recreational facilities, and comfortable, livable rooms. The professional photoshoot perfectly captured the unique beauty of the sunset over the lawn and the distant views from the helipad. This combination of heartwarming service and stunning scenery made the trip truly worthwhile.

DongfangyuxiFirst, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities.
The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient.
Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time.
Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person.
I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

Guest UserThis is truly the ideal beachfront escape! The public areas are lush with greenery, offering excellent privacy. The room's balcony has an unbeatable view; every morning I woke up to green palm trees. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—ensuring a great night's sleep. A special shout-out to our butler, Ella, whose service was excellent and very attentive, absolutely perfect! The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and even the toiletries in the bathroom were top-notch. Five stars! 🌴
