We stayed for three nights in a king size suite. Room was spacious and very clean. Hotel is close to a busy road but we heard very little noise at night. Gym was good and well equipped. Breakfast was also good with eggs, bacon, bagels etc. Hotel is close to Walmart Supercentre and other large stores. My only gripe was the laundry. One washing machine and dryer. Cost $1.75 each. I had to hunt around for some coins in the end Reception came to my aid but it would be good if these were free, such a small amount of money when you consider our total bill was $800+. Apart from that all good.

What a lovely hotel right on the waterfront in Sault Ste Marie. We had a nice view of the water on the 4th floor. Very clean and comfortable beds, but the bathroom could have used a little extra attention and the shower stall wasn't clean and there looked like there was blood or something on the wall? Whatever. Staff were nice and the Starbucks in the lobby was quick and efficient - best caramel macchiatto I've ever had. Their restaurant has really tasty food and drinks and the patio was amazing, but I found service to be slow - ie did not even see my server for about 15 minutes after I was seated and it took another 10 to get water. Regardless, a very enjoyable stay and I would stay here again.

The hotel environment is very clean, there is a laundry room, breakfast is a regular buffet bar with eggs and bacon. Personally feel that it is a good trip in the middle of the hotel, recommended.

We had high hopes that we'd have a cute little cabin for our stay, but it was closer to one of those cabins that you see in horror movies. The bathroom was moudly and musty, to the point that we had to keep the door shut to avoid smelling it. When we turned on the bathroom fan it got even worse, there were ants in the bathroom, and there was potpourri in there to try to hide the smell. Cupboards in the bathroom and kitchen were hanging crookedly, there was no hot water for showering - you only had a few seconds of hot water before the heater shut off. There wasn't a plug for the bathroom sink, so we had to stuff a wash cloth in the drain to try and do a light wash in the sink (since showers weren't an option with no hot water). The sinks in the bathroom and kitchen were rust stained and so was the stove. The curtains had burn marks, the fridge had a burned out light, it was missing a front step (that should have been our first clue how bad things were going to be 😶). The towels were stained, the couch was stained, the flooring was stained, the carpet was stained, the kettle was stained, the internet kicked in and out, etc. Some of these are only little things, but all together they add up to show how little care is put into maintaining this place. The only good thing I can say is that the beds were comfy and the roof didn't leak. If you're thinking of staying here, DON'T! It is way too expensive and you can get a much nicer stay almost anywhere else.

Great hotel! The staff were all friendly, and knowledgeable about the tourist sights, the suite and hotel is clean and tidy. Free breakfast to see you on your way in the morning. We parked our vehicle, and were able to walk to the places we planned to visit. Highly recommend a stay here!!

It’s laughable that Sault St Marie markets itself as Ontario’s Best Adventure Town - its dubious honour should really be the adventure of dealing with difficult people! Had the misfortune to be in this place twice in one month and both times the experience has been lack lustre. First time stayed at Quattro Hotel with high expectations due to all its rave reviews and #1 status on TripAdvisor. Sadly the service was lukewarm at best. On the return journey, we rebooked to stay at The Water Tower Inn again with high expectations due to the multiple rave reviews. This time staff were at least very helpful but due to an error on their part when changing our reservation (they got the dates so wrong), they expected us to pay more in order to have the rooms we needed once we had rocked up and attempted to check-in. Talk about holding us ransom. Yes we would have had to cough up more money (a $900 hold) to fix their error! Best to avoid this town altogether.
