Our room was dirty..hair in the sink and bathtub. The desk and nightstand were dirty with visible crumbs. The floors were unswept. I asked for a new room and the gal found us a new clean room. There was a group having a parking lot party outside our window area. The guy next to us had his music blaring till midnight when I asked him to please turn it down.
Lesson learned… cheap hotel is not always the best deal.

The check in experience was negative. I do not no what was wrong with the receptionist. She never greeted me and never thanked me. I almost felt i was bothering her by being there.. when i checked out the lady greeted me and was nice. Was a total difference.

For a budget motel, I was actually pleasantly surprised by how OK this one was. First and foremost, I have to say that the front desk clerk (a somewhat sassy girl with tattoos) was amazing and exactly who I would want manning the front desk of my hotel. I hope the management appreciates her. The room was clean and appears to have been recently modernized. Nothing fancy, but nothing bad either. If you looked, you could find flaws such as water damaged on the ceiling, but right or wrong, that is kind of expected in this niche of hotels. The common spaces such as the hallways were notably well maintained. The breakfast was bare minimal...but better than nothing and for a value inn. Certainly better than nothing. I would go back for sure.
