Staying in Sempoorna town was a delightful experience, and this resort made our visit truly special. Sempoorna town is relatively small and apart from diving, hiking, island hopping there is not much things to do. If you're planning to spend more than 2-3 days in the area, I highly recommend considering this resort. Conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Sempoorna town by boat, the resort offers a tranquil escape. The staff and owner here are not only friendly but also incredibly cooperative, ensuring a warm welcome and a comfortable stay throughout. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully equipped, providing a luxurious experience. The surrounding beautiful sea is a highlight, adorned by starfish and other fishes. While the included food may not be the centerpiece of the experience, it is satisfactory, mainly featuring delicious Chinese cuisine. The staff and owner go the extra mile to share details about the resort, snorkeling gear, and any assistance you may need. During our stay, they arranged an unforgettable island-hopping tour, adding an extra layer of excitement to our visit.

1. I booked this hotel to go diving in Sipadan. As a result, the customer service of Ctrip was very nice and the trip went smoothly! In this regard, I am very satisfied with this trip! Then the price is very beautiful. If it is set elsewhere, 4000 for two people can't run away. We add Sipadan, and Madagyung for a total of 6 dives, only 4000. 2. On the day of arrival, the reception staff of the hotel are very friendly, they are ready to welcome drink and lunch, and the room is ready after eating and drinking, and the checkin experience is also very good! 3. The room temperature is more comfortable with air-conditioning and electric fans. The bed is soft and the pillows are relatively high. There is an extra bed by the window. The bath water should be heated in advance, and the lighting group control is very 👍. Except for a little problem with the toilet, everything else is ok! 4. Meals, each meal has cold drinks, hot drinks, desserts, pastries, fruits, vegetables, beef and lamb, fish, rice, fried noodles, pasta, and salads. It's already great for me! The taste is not bad, you can also order other big meals to eat, the price of drinks is reasonable. It is a place to spend money to buy and enjoy. 5. The experience of diving, the biggest reward of coming here is to get to know a group of diving enthusiasts from all over the world. The hotel’s beaches are not care for anything, just for diving! The staff in the dive shop are very friendly, the little brothers will help take care of everything, we only need to dive and dive!

They arranged cars to pick up and drop off at the pier on time in the morning and evening. The stay at the resort was clean and tidy, and the environment was beautiful, especially suitable for a romantic vacation for young people. In particular, whether it was the front desk receptionist Kaikai, the pick-up driver or the manager Sun Xuecheng, you were kind and friendly to the guests. We were travelling with kids ranging from 1.5 yo to grandparents of 70s. The rooms and facilities are well cared, clean and comfortable. The meals are lovely and has a good variety. I ended appreciating the inland resort as it is safer for kids to run around and easy access for elderly. The main purpose of our trip is to snorkel and enjoy the coast. Except for the 1.5yo, everyone went snorkelling in the open water. This resort has the most amazing coral reef just off its jetty. Having snorkel at various part of the island, we realised this resort somehow able to maintain a good coastal ecosystem that attracts lot of marine life..The snorkel and diving crew are amazing, caring and highly professional people. My 8yo encountered with an emergency whilst snorkelling in the open water. (Things happened in the wild.) We were very grateful for the decisive action of our first responder dive instructor, immediate organisation by the hotel manager to access medical care and the tireless company by our snorkelling guide throughout the medical transport and treatment process. We were well taken care by this great community. Our 8yo was back to her normal self that afternoon and insisted to continue with island hoping adventure the next day. Instead of discouraging us from taking to the trip, the resort has arranged additional crew members to accompany us the next day. Whilst the rest of the family snorkel, the additional crew spent time with my 8yo on the boat, entertaining her with tales of the sea. The level of service is truly amazing. Lastly, we were so lucky to witness the release of baby sea turtles into the sea. The resort has beaches preserve for turtles to nest. If you appreciate the marine ecosystem and the experience to be close to nature, I highly recommend Borneo Divers. We will be back for more snorkelling.
