Geumho Starjang

Have a very disappointing experience staying in this motel for a following reasons: 1) Too outdated building 2) Smells so badly 3) Rooms are not as large as shown in the ad for the stated price 4) Heating doesn’t work.

At the time of check-in, the hotel received a notice from ******* about accommodation, and even though I told the old lady at the front desk many times that I was the guest listed here, I was refused accommodation. After about 20 minutes of explaining over and over again, the old lady reluctantly handed me the key to the room. About half of the tables were covered with drink residue and had not been cleaned. There was a large amount of trash left in the trash cans in both the room and the bathroom, which I didn't throw away. The futon was full of stains and very dirty. There are many buttons on the TV remote control that you don't want to touch directly. My room was near the front desk, but the old lady at the front desk was talking loudly even after midnight, so I couldn't sleep. He yelled that he was bothering me and went quiet for a while, but after a while he spoke again in a slightly lower voice than before. I want guests to be quiet once they are warned. I don't think they are aware that they are doing business with customers. Check-in is also refused. The room was extremely dirty. It's so annoying until late at night that I can't sleep. I have stayed at cheap hotels many times, but I will never stay at this hotel again, even if it is cheap. It was the worst hotel I stayed in because I thought it was cheap and I ended up regretting it.

Owner was old and didn’t believe I had a reservation, even though I showed her my reservation ID, and Korean ID card. She even saw my name on her phone but still didn’t believe it. Had to wait 5 minutes at reception, while she was telling her husband it’s not possible. Filthy sheets, used repeatedly without being washed, large piss stains and cigarette ashes on the bathroom floor. 3rd world standard hotel. Vile… No refunds on this property when booking. So DO NOT book it.
