Western Coop Hotel & Residence Dongdaemun

Because I had an extra day on my trip, I stayed in the hotel for one more night. Fortunately, there was still a room, so I didn’t have to pack my luggage and change hotels on the last day, wasting time😅. In the end, I could easily take the 6001 airport bus at the hotel door. Incheon Airport.

The location is very convenient, as soon as you get off the building, there is the airport bus 6001 The bed in the room is very soft, but the room is large and there is plenty of space for two suitcases. However, the microwave was not cleaned and was very dirty.

The location is great, it's close to the station, everything is convenient. One thing I'd like to say is that it's a shame that there is no shuttle bus from Dongdaemun to Kimpo.

I stayed in a twin room. I had seen the reviews and photos, so it was just as I expected. It was spacious enough for two people, with the suitcases spread out. You had to take your shoes off before entering the room. There was a washing machine in the room, so you could do your laundry, which is very helpful during this time of year. However, there is no drying function, so you have to hang your clothes to dry indoors. I stayed for three nights, but there was no cleaning or bed making. They only took out the trash and changed the towels. Since there was no cleaning, I was worried about the dust on the floor, so I thought it would be nice if there was something like a Quickle Wiper so I could clean it myself. There is a glass door between the shower and the toilet, but water normally flows onto the toilet floor, making it soaking. There is a convenience store below the hotel, and it is relatively close to the station, so it is convenient.

This was a good stay😊 It was on a high floor, so the view from the window was amazing✨ There was no gas stove or induction cooker, so I checked with the front desk and they said that rooms on the 10th floor or higher do not have them for safety reasons and that I had to reserve a portable type. I was able to cook simple meals with the microwave in the room. This time, I extended the distance of my walk from the hotel to the surrounding area, and found that Euljiro 4-ga, Jongno 5-ga, 4-ga, and 3-ga (around Ikseon-dong, which is casually trendy) were within walking distance, so I was able to shop at the wholesale street along the way, and enjoy delicious food at a nice cafe, kongguksu, and ttukbaegi shop😊︎👍🏻 The only disappointment was that when I arrived, the previous guest's hair was still tangled in the shower...It seems that the room is cleaned every Thursday, but I would like them to clean it thoroughly after check-out, not just on Thursdays. This was my third stay, but I have a feeling that this will become a regular place︎💓 Thank you🥰

The location is excellent, close to Dongdaemun and Myeongdong by subway, the limousine bus from the airport stops right in front, and there is a convenience store in the same building. Once you understand the system, it's easy to spend time here, such as having to refill your mineral water from the water dispenser yourself from the second day, and having to deposit 10,000 won for the adapter in cash.
