Best Places to Stay Near Yeongdeungpo Station in Seoul

Close to Yeongdeungpo metro station. Comfortable bed. The room is small but very cozy. Friendly staff. A quiet street in the thick of the metropolis.

Location: The geographical location is relatively superior. The hotel is not far from the metro station and bus station. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Room: Not particularly spacious. What is commendable is that the toilet is separated from the bathroom. I really like the flush toilet in the room.

The receptionist lady (owner?) was a very nice person. It seemed that he could only communicate in Korean, but he taught me with various gestures. Even after I checked out, they kindly kept my luggage for me. thank you. Electricity and showers are inferior to hotels, but at this price it is a bargain.

It was good value for money for the weekend~ It's close to home, so I can sleep with friends who came from far away. I got a total of 4 rooms. The staff was friendly too. My friends also went down to rest comfortably.

Although it is a motel, the facilities are clean. It is convenient to stay. There is no noise of affection compared to other places. It's quiet because nearby office workers stay here. Even if it's cold with the door open, the electric blanket is warm so you can sleep with the blanket on. A piece of sweat is really good. The price is also cheaper than other motels. The owner is really kind. There is no shortage of parking space or anything like that.

It was quite good for a place to choose in a hurry - it's hard to find quality at this price unless you are sensitive to the sound of the train !! The air conditioner sounds loud, but it doesn't matter in winter -!

The location is very good, and there are many delicious foods nearby. Although it is a motorcycle ride for couples, the sound insulation is very good. I recommend this place.

Our experience in Merlin Hotel is nothing short but, amazing. The owner and staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful, they were very accommodating during our stay. Although the service and facilities may not be the greatest, in comparison to a 5 star hotel, it was sufficient and well equipped. The rooms does not come with toiletries, however, it is provided at front desk which is top-up daily by staff, and guest may take as much as they require. As for cleaning services, the staff will change towel (put it inside the provided basket) and do minimal cleaning of room (sweep or, mop the room) daily. The location of the hotel is near Chungmuro station, just take exit 8 (stairs) or, exit 1 (escalator; will require to cross road to reach hotel). The subway itself is an ideal station with intercepting line which is, Line 4 and Line 3. Additionally, it is also a stop away from Dongdaemun with transfer line of Line 2, Line 4 and Line 4. It is a walking distance to Myeongdong, approximately 10 - 15 minutes depending on your walking speed. Overall, I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Korea, not because of the hotel location or etc but, the staff there who were an absolute ray of sunshine with their positive energy.

The location is very good! A new hotel located at Dongdaemun Station will be completed in 2023! It only takes one minute to walk to the hotel from Exit 3 of Dongdaemun Station. You can walk into the alley from the intersection. There are small supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. nearby. The room is well soundproofed. It is not big but has all the essentials. The air-conditioning is quiet and comfortable. , using smart devices, the lights near the door will light up when detected, and there is also a TV for watching Netflix and other programs. The room is equipped with multi USB cables, but the room only has round sockets (?), and the travel plug is not available. If you need to charge the camera, you may have to ask the front desk. In addition, I am not satisfied with the integrated bathroom and toilet, but it is also clean and hygienic, with complete toiletries and comfortable beds. Indoor slippers, bathroom slippers and a refrigerator are also provided. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it and the price/performance ratio is high.

It was close and easy to access from the airport right away! The lobby staff were warm and kind, they showed me the collaboration space with Klairs and there was a whole series of Klairs sample you could take to use in the hotel stay (sunscreen, cleansing oil, moisturiser for day and night, cleansers, different types of toner, omg it was like the whole Klairs family was there for free use!) in the hotel room there was also shower kit (face & body, shampoo, conditioner) that is liquid free (because it’s in a bar form! Bar conditioner was a first time for me, but it was still good on my hair, btw you can even buy it from the lobby if you like the product and care about the environment (only 5000 won!). The pyjamas were the most comfortable! Next, the roof top bar was superb the caramel filling muffin was good and ice americano was so smooth (if you are a guest you can have a discount). It is near Gangnam and Apgujeong, and nearby the hotel there is a police box so the neighbourhood is safe. The only downside is laundry room did not provide any detergent, so maybe you have to bring your own detergent pods. I’m not sure if the reception sells it.
