Ein Hotel für Leute die geniessen und verwöhnt werden wollen. Sehr gute Lage, nicht weit weg von Senegambia aber doch sehr ruhig. Ein "Adult only" Hotel, wo man sich vom hektischen Treiben in Gambia herrlich erholen kann. Der Inhaber führt das Hotel mit viel Herzblut und mit dem richtigen Mix zwischen Schweizer-Gründlichkeit (20 Jahre in Schweiz) und doch mit der afrikansichen Lebensfreude. Das Zimmer war gross mit herrlicher Meersicht und überdurchschnittlich sauber. Ich wurde die ganze Woche vom Team verwähnt und erhielt ausgezeichnete Hilfe und Support vom Hotel-Manager. Bin überzeugt, dass dieses Hotel die beste Wahl für Leute ist, wenn man keinen Party-Rummel will, sondern in einem Boutique Hotel guten Service geniesst und sich vom afrikanischen Lebensfeeling begeistern lässt. Absoluter Top Aufenthalt!

This is an excellent hotel with excellent cuisine and a super friendly and helpful owner. Sainey Manneh has lived in Switzerland for around 20 years and has an eye for detail. Sainey is very well connected and can help with anything. When we asked where there was live music to be heard, he clarified this on the phone and then drove us himself to the "Poco Loco Club" where a great reggae band was playing. The hotel is very informal and you quickly know the whole team by name. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful place: quiet, clean and with style. I only stayed here to catch my breath from work. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday without crowds. Nice hotel bar and dinner options. You won't be bothered by other people here because it only has 10 rooms and more than enough sun beds. Location is close to the *****, with a taxi or driver you can get there in 5 minutes. The hotel is managed by Gambian Sainey (lived in Switzerland for 20 years) and his English wife Becky. So you have European quality but with the help and knowledge of local Sainey. The ideal combination. Sainey is very 'swissed' and you notice that in everything: punctual and clean. The hotel's airport pick-up is more than worth the money because owner Sainey will pick you up from the airport at the exit with a sign. This saves you annoying negotiations with taxi drivers. Excursions can also be easily arranged through the hotel. The staff is well trained by Becky, who keeps the quality high with a friendly but strict approach. This is a nice place if you like peace, beauty of nature and a beautiful pool and sunset. Perfect price/quality ratio and much more original than one of the larger (and much busier hotels further down in Kololi)

Small-scale (solar) hotel with 10 rooms, right on the beach and sea. Fortunately, no (re)animation team or disco noise around the clean swimming pool. You come here for peace and quiet. And the sun of course, the temperature is pleasant. And when we were there, there were only three rooms occupied. If you go outside the complex to the public beach/other places, you will regularly be approached by various hustlers and bumpsters. That's not always fun, but just brush it off resolutely and with respect and always keep smiling! That is usually sufficient. The rooms are clean, well furnished with comfortable beds and the somewhat noisy ceiling fan works fine. An energy-guzzling air conditioner is really not necessary. The view on the upper terrace is phenomenal and you can sit there super relaxed for a tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is simply cozy and family! Above all, Swiss Boutique's service is definitely worth mentioning! The charming owner/host Sainey is the absolute trendsetter and always up for a chat. You can contact him and his friendly staff with all your questions. Nothing is too much! To illustrate: when the cook was not there, Sainey took us out for dinner, isn't that great?! Exchange money, pay by credit card, own taxi service (also for a tour), you name it, it is possible. Is something missing from the menu? Then it will be arranged and it will be there the same day. Or else the next day. In short, a wonderful hotel, we will definitely come back! Recommended!
