We've just completed the most amazing stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Allamanda seychelles, as part of our two centre Wedding Anniversary. The hotel is one of the originals on the island of Mahe, located directly on a long sandy beach, tranquil and beautiful, with clear water and a few overhanging trees set back to provide natural areas of shade if required. You'll feel as if you're in paradise. Prior to our arrival, we recieved an email from Ronny, in Guest Relations, who dilligently took all of our requirements and put everything in place for our stay. From the moment our transfer taxi arrived at the hotel, our bags were collected, taken to our rooms by the reception team, whilst a host greeted us with cookies and made us feel welcomed and excited for our holiday. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a really nice seaview to watch the sunrise each morning, an ensuite shower room, filled with all key amenities, plus a large comfortable bed that you would expect from a Hilton Hotel. Leon and other housekeeping staff would visit twice a day to clean the room, top up amenities and leave it looking brand new. There's also a good sized outdoor pool, surrounded with lots of sunbeds, seating, parasols. There's a pool bar, with waiters on hand to deliver drinks or food to the poolside or beach, however they are equally inconspicuous allowing you to enjoy peaceful moments. Breakfast and Dinner is held in the main restaurant. Breakfast consists of a comprehensive hot and cold buffet, featuring many local and international options. Each morning we were greeted by Stephanie and Yordanos, who would remember our names and dietary preferences. For dinner they offer an A la carte menu and different themed buffets each night, where Raab the main chef and his team Abiahek, Lorna, Eroiwane, Deelip et al go the extra mile to provide options for everyone, including vegans which is important for my wife. Tolera, Emanuel and all the staff really looked after us each day. Whether poolside or dinner, Tolera was always at hand to assist. When we casually enquired about other options that wasn't even on the menu, the resturant team either made it and brought it to our table or it was on the breakfast or dinner buffer the next day. They really went out of their way to create the right absence and make all guest feel special. We were also very happy to have the opportunity to meet Doreen the Hotel Manager. Between Doreen and Ronny, it felt as of they were always at hand to support their guests. This was such a relaxing holiday due to the staff morale and atmosphere. It was quite evident that Doreen and her team go above and beyond the call of duty to keep their guests happy. Judging by all the smiles and people we spoke to by the pool and bar, they've managed to create a really relaxed atmosphere, that you won't want to leave. It was our first time at DoubleTree by Hilton Allamanda seychelles and we cannot wait to return.
