Four Points Properties in Shanghai

This time, two families traveled together, and to our surprise, the hotel turned out to be the kids' biggest highlight! The Little Dragon-themed room was designed with so much care. My child has been talking about it non-stop since we got back, saying she wants to go again. She'd wake up in the morning and immediately crawl into the tent to play by herself, staying quietly absorbed for quite a while. This hotel is incredibly appealing to children; in her eyes, the joy here even surpassed Disneyland – we'd honestly come back just for this hotel! Breakfast, to be fair, didn't have a huge variety. We've stayed at the Sheraton near Hong Kong Disneyland, and their breakfast was much more extensive by comparison. Overall, I still highly recommend it for families with children. The kids are happy, the adults are worry-free, and the experience is well worth it.

· Located at the edge of the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone in Pudong New Area, right next to Nanpu Bridge. The location is excellent for business travelers working in Lujiazui, Pudong Yaohan, and surrounding areas. · Convenient subway access: Very close to Tangqiao Station on Metro Line 4, about a 3-5 minute walk. Line 4 is a circular line, making it easy to transfer to other lines. It's very convenient for reaching Pudong Airport, Hongqiao Airport/Railway Station, Jing'an Temple, People's Square, and more. 1. **Excellent Location**: In the core area of Pudong, right next to Tangqiao Station on Metro Line 4, offering extremely convenient transportation. 2. **Brand Assurance**: As a Marriott Group brand, it guarantees a basic standard of service and facilities. 3. **Great Value for Money**: The price is relatively affordable compared to other hotels in similar locations. 4. **Convenient Surroundings**: There are convenience stores, snack shops, and a mall nearby, making daily life very convenient.

It's a dated hotel. The common areas were unremarkable, and both room facilities and service were just average. For 847 RMB a night on a Saturday, I'd expect more, as it's not a cheap hotel. Cleanliness, however, was acceptable. This was the first time I've encountered a minibar where everything was chargeable, and the prices weren't cheap either. There were also snacks with no prices listed, so I didn't dare touch them. Maybe I'm just out of touch, but most other hotels like Intercontinental, Indigo, and Shangri-La don't charge for minibar items. Toothbrushes and combs were not provided; you either had to ask for them or bring your own. The front desk didn't inform me of this, and if they weren't delivered promptly, I had to call again to request them. Check-in was at 2 PM, but when I arrived, no rooms were ready. I completed the check-in process and left my number, told I would be called once the room was ready after a priority cleaning. By 3:30 PM, I still hadn't received a call. I went back, waited a bit, then inquired, and only then was told the room was ready. I finally checked in past 3:40 PM. A short while later, a plate of fruit (one banana, one peach, one pear) was delivered quite unceremoniously; the person just put it down and left. I wasn't sure if it was an apology gesture or simply a welcome fruit. Is this really how five-star hotels operate in a major city like Shanghai? 😂 The room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. However, the curtains weren't very good at blocking out light. Being on a high floor, the room was quiet, but the view was just average.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Shanghai. I booked a 2-night package deal in advance for 849, which was valid even during the summer holiday and included breakfast for two. Despite being a package deal, the hotel's service was excellent; the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to all our requests. The breakfast spread was generous and filling. Our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is conveniently located about 6 kilometers from Disneyland, making it easy to get there by taxi or subway. Best of all, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland! This was an amazing perk. Highly recommend!

We chose the Sheraton for our Legoland trip with the kids, and it was excellent in terms of environment, cleanliness, facilities, and breakfast. We headed directly to the park from home in the morning. For the return trip in the evening, we had booked a shuttle. However, there was only one scheduled service at 7 PM, and we unfortunately missed it because we couldn't find the pick-up location in time. A small suggestion for improvement would be to clearly mark the shuttle pick-up spot on your promotional pages and to proactively contact booked guests to inform them of the location. Another issue was that the contact number listed on the promotional page rang unanswered after several attempts. On the day of check-in, the front desk mentioned complimentary fruit, but when I called later to ask about it, I was told there wouldn't be any. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall stay was still okay.

Overall it's OK. After all, the hotel is quite new. However, I'm not particularly satisfied with the service. I asked the front desk to send two bottles of water to the room. I asked three times in total, and it took more than half an hour to deliver. The front desk didn't seem to smile. I don't know if the parking lot is divided into underground garage and ground. The license plate number was registered at the front desk, but I don't know if it was because I parked in the underground garage, but I still paid when I came out. At least the front desk didn't ask me where I parked. In short, there is no problem with the hardware facilities. After all, the hotel is quite new. The service quality needs to be improved!
