I had a pleasant stay at Yitel Collection. The hotel offers great practical perks: we were able to check in early, the wifi was fast and reliable, and the hot shower was excellent—strong pressure and consistently hot water. The location is also a big plus, as it is reachable to both the metro and bus stops, and very close to Shanghai Railway Station, making it super convenient for travelers. The only downsides were the lack of a laundry service and no delivery robot, which would have been convenient for ordering food or sending items up to the room. Aside from that, everything was smooth and comfortable. Would recommend for anyone prioritizing location and basic comfort.

It's just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station, and the metro is right nearby. The rooms are very well-maintained, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom has stable water pressure. The staff are responsive and provide meticulous service, and there's a great variety of breakfast options. They also have a heated pool and a gym, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Definitely one of Accor's reliable properties!

We stayed at this hotel for a week with our family and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their hospitality really made our stay special. The room was very large, spacious, and comfortable, which was perfect for our family. It would be even better if the room had a small refrigerator, especially for longer stays. We also loved the beautiful view from our room facing the 1000 Trees building. Overall, we had a great week and really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful staff, spacious rooms, and a great atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again! These pictures were taken steps away from the hotel!! also one positive thing I wanted to mention was that we needed to take one of our kids to the hospital and once we told them that they came to our room and offered help to get directions calls translation, and anything that could make our kid get better ASAP, we really appreciate that!!

I absolutely have to rave about this hotel! The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly friendly and efficient, even offering a thoughtful room upgrade. The concierge team was simply outstanding – they took care of everything from the moment I arrived until I checked out. They handled my luggage, arranged taxis, and even helped plan my itinerary, making my stay completely stress-free and truly heartwarming. The room itself was genuinely spacious with a great layout, making for a very comfortable stay. The service was attentive, and the overall experience was fantastic. Five-star recommendation!

What I liked: the location was right by Shanghai Railway Station, only had to cross one small street behind the hotel. Super easy. It was a quiet, dated hotel, but was once quite nice for a budget hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a refrigerator. I was given three bottles of water. The soap smelled good. Staff was as polite. What wasn’t for me: the shower clearly had mold in the grout and corners and no shower shoes were offered. There was moderate wear and tear in the room, cosmetic, but paint could fix it easily. One of the rooms smelled like smoke when they clearly won’t let anyone open a window fully (there is a chain on it), though it dissipated after a while. Yes, Eric can move through the window, but you cannot stick your hand out of the window. They only offered me a comb and a toothbrush while they gave my friend one more amenity. She asked for nothing else. All four pillows were soft. So soft that your head sinks to the bed. It’s not a bad place if you need to be at the railway station and want to get there fast. Wouldn’t be my pick for an anniversary hotel or a weekend getaway. Very basic.

I had a very satisfying stay. It's close to Shanghai Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient. There are breakfast shops and convenience stores nearby, as well as a shopping mall for some retail therapy. I'm very pleased and highly recommend it!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Shanghai Jing'an for one week as a family with two children, and we had an amazing experience. We booked the 2 King Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and offered excellent value for money. What impressed us most was the outstanding service. Every team member was friendly, professional, and eager to help. A special thank you goes to the team on the 5th floor, who made our stay even more enjoyable with their exceptional hospitality. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It offered everything you would expect from a continental breakfast and much more. There was a great variety of fresh food prepared right in front of guests, making breakfast a real experience rather than just a meal. We also tried the hotel's restaurant and ordered room service several times. The food quality was excellent, and everything was delivered promptly and professionally. Another great advantage for families is the children's playground on the 3rd floor. Our kids loved spending time there, and we appreciated being able to let them play under supervision while we sat in the nearby lounge area and got some work done. This was a fantastic feature that made our stay much more relaxing. The reception team went above and beyond to help us with many things during our visit, including restaurant reservations, sending packages to friends, providing recommendations on what to do in Shanghai, and sharing helpful local tips. Their support made exploring the city much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient. There is a shopping mall directly across the street with plenty of great local dining options, and the hotel is located close to the train station, making it easy to get around the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Shanghai. The combination of excellent service, comfortable rooms, great food, family-friendly facilities, and outstanding value for money makes it an excellent choice. As an added bonus, a premium DiDi ride to The Bund costs only around €4 to €5, making it easy and affordable to reach one of Shanghai's most famous attractions.

Staying on the Puxi side of Shanghai, choosing this Courtyard was an excellent decision. The location is great, and the facilities are also good – the gym is 24/7 with wet towels and disinfectant wipes available. All the staff are very enthusiastic; Gerry from concierge proactively helped with my luggage, and Alicia at the front desk handled my check-in quickly. Overall, it's great value for money.

This was my first stay at Manxin Hotel, and it far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean, with a well-thought-out layout and a really stylish decor. They even provided complimentary drinks. The hotel also offered afternoon tea and a self-service late-night snack bar. Both at check-in and check-out, they gave us a small bag of snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and proactively adding us on WeChat to send us check-in instructions. The restaurant had an elegant and spacious ambiance, and the breakfast selection was extensive. Manxin Hotel will definitely be my top choice for future travels!

I was traveling to Shanghai alone and struggling to pick a hotel. Since I was by myself, I considered a youth hostel, and unexpectedly stumbled upon a recommendation for this one on Xiaohongshu. The environment looked great, and it was an all-female hostel, so I booked it right away! When I arrived, it was exactly as I imagined – an old Shanghai, antique charm, which I never expected to find for such a reasonable price. The location is fantastic. Hanzhong Road station connects several metro lines, and I didn't even realize how convenient the transportation was when I booked it (?). I went from Pudong Airport to the Oriental Pearl Tower and then straight to the hostel. After checking in, I spent most of my time visiting museums. The Natural History Museum, which I wanted to see, is just one stop away. Then, with one transfer, I could reach Lujiazui, where most of the attractions are. I didn't have any transportation hassles at all. It’s super close to the subway station – just cross one zebra crossing and you're there. It only takes about thirty minutes to get to Lujiazui. The food options nearby are decent too; there's a Lawson convenience store opposite where I grabbed breakfast. The all-female environment made me feel very safe. The front desk staff were exceptionally nice. I checked in at 5 PM, and the police came to register my details and call my guardian, which shows how legitimate and well-regulated the place is! The environment is also very clean. There are individual toilets and hostel showers. I stayed for a short period, but it seems perfectly suitable for longer stays as well. Downstairs, there's a designated area for food delivery, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a sign saying delivery riders don't go upstairs as soon as I arrived! The front desk even offers complimentary water, which is a thoughtful touch. My roommates were also very quiet; everyone kept the noise down, so I had a great night's sleep on the first night and enjoyed my sightseeing the next day (P.S. the Oriental Pearl Tower on the first day and the butterflies at the Natural History Museum on the second). If you stay here, you absolutely must visit the Natural History Museum, which is just one stop away – it's incredibly good value for money!
