Location: 5/5. Only around 200m from People's Square. Easy access to the metro to get you around Shanghai at thr most affordable price. Right at the heart of Nanjing Road, very near to Shimao Mall. 50m to Lai Lai Xiaolong. Can't get any better. Amenities: 5/5. Also have laundry area to do your daily laundry at no extra charges. With complimentary detergent. Have washing machines and dryers. Staff: 5/5. Extremely friendly and helpful. Even offered to use their phones for Mei Tuan so you won't need your local Chinese number during your visit. Cleanliness: 5/5. Room is super clean. No smell. Daily cleaning service is excellent. Bathroom: 5/5. Shower only, no bathtub. But it's perfectly fine. Heating is almost immediate. Great water pressure and toilet is working flawlessly. Perfect!

The staff was really nice and accommodated my requests such as late check out and upgrading the room for free. The room is really clean and comfortable. The air-con is cold.

A good, well-located budget hotel near the subway, convenience stores, restaurants, and major attractions. It was clean with a comfortable bed; I found the pillows a bit high, but the blanket was great. There is no minibar, and laundry services cost extra. I was upgraded to a room with a window, though the window was tiny—at least it was useful for checking the weather. Good shower; soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. Attentive staff.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel for families. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with enough space for parents and children to relax after a full day of sightseeing. The beds were very comfortable, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the cleaning staff. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any requests made us feel genuinely welcome and added a personal touch to our experience. The front desk staff were also warm, professional, and always willing to help. They made check-in smooth and were happy to answer our questions and offer local recommendations. The hotel’s location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and major attractions, making it very convenient to explore the area with kids. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, including choices suitable for children, and the dining area was comfortable and well organized. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel felt. The atmosphere was welcoming, the facilities were well maintained, and we always felt safe and comfortable. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. It provided great value for money, and we would definitely choose to stay here again on our next family trip.

The convenient location near pedestrian areas and tourist attractions goes without saying, but I'd like to focus on the hotel's facilities: 1. The lobby and all floors have a pleasant fragrance. 2. The room layout is excellent, especially how well the bathroom and toilet are hidden. Housekeeping is thorough, and the bathroom is clean and odorless. 3. The mini-fridge is restocked daily with complimentary drinks and water – a definite plus! 4. The Wi-Fi speed is great! 👍 5. The pour-over coffee provided in the room is delicious, definitely give it a try. 6. The breakfast buffet is extensive, tasty, and the dining area is well-lit. 7. The laundry room has an app that automatically notifies you when your wash/dry cycle is complete – another big plus! 8. The bed firmness is just right, and the small double-person coffee table in the room is very comfortable and suitable for working. 9. The location is super convenient for calling a taxi, as it's not directly on a main road. The subway station is within walking distance, situated in the city center with easy connections to various lines (no need for many transfers to get to the airport). I would definitely stay here again!

The location is fantastic, very convenient for getting around. Lots of foreigners stay here, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I just have one suggestion: there's a spot in the room that's really easy to bump into. You can easily hit your waist just by turning around, and a child could hit their head. I mentioned it to the front desk, but they didn't seem to have a very proactive response. I feel their service awareness still needs improvement.

She was always kind and helpful, and made our stay much smoother. 🤍 بصراحة أول شيء جذبني للفندق كان التقييم العالي وعدد التعليقات الكبير 📍 Location: من أفضل مميزات الفندق موقعه. قريب جدًا من شارع التسوق٣ د مشي تقريبا ، وحوالي 5 دقائق مشي من مطعم Eli Falafel العربي، وكذلك قريب من محطات المترو، فالتنقل كان سهل جدًا. 🏨 Check-in & Lobby: مدخل الفندق من الجهة الجانبية، وهو داخل نفس مبنى Holiday Inn. اللوبي في الدور الخامس، وصراحة كانت من أكثر الأشياء المخيبة بالنسبة لي، لأننا اضطرينا نسحب الشنط من الاستقبال إلى اللوبي ثم إلى الغرفة بأنفسنا. 🛏️ Room: الغرفة عادية وصغيرة نسبيًا (حوالي 25m²) وتذكرني بغرف أوروبا. لكنها نظيفة، مريحة، وإطلالتها على شارع التسوق كانت جميلة. 💡 Facilities: * الستائر والإنارة إلكترونية. * فيه روبوت يوصل الطلبات للغرفة، وكانت إضافة لطيفة. * أي استفسار يردون عليه بسرعة عن طريق WeChat. 🚿 Bathroom: المرحاض فيه خاصية تدفئة للمقعد، لكن ما فيه شطاف إلكتروني، وكنت أتمنى يكون موجود. 👕 Services: ما فيه مكواة داخل الغرفة، لكن فيه غرفة غسيل فيها مكواة بخار تؤدي الغرض. بس بصراحة كل مرة تحتاج تكوي شيء لازم تنزل، وهذا كان متعب شوي. 😭 وقت تسجيل الدخول تقدر تختار إذا تبي تنظيف يومي أو بدون تنظيف طوال فترة الإقامة، وأمانة خدمة التنظيف كانت ممتازة. 🎁 Overall: رغم الملاحظات، لازم أقول إن الموظفين كانوا يحاولون يرضون النزيل بكل الطرق. وعند تسجيل الخروج أعطونا هدية بسيطة، وفي اللوبي متوفر قهوة سريعة التحضير وشاي مجانًا. الخلاصة: فندق جيد جدًا إذا كانت أولويتك الموقع وسهولة الوصول. لكن الإقامة كانت مريحة، والموظفون متعاونون جدًا، وهذا عوض كثير من السلبيات بالنسبة لي

This hotel was not cheap, so I had high expectations in comparison to the hotel I stayed in just before at half the price. We arrived at 5pm after a very long travel day and were stunned to be told our room wasn’t ready and we were to come back in an hour. 4 hours after check in opens and they think its acceptable to expect us to wait for a room we have paid 1150 yuan pn for. Only 18 hours in the room. I don’t think so. I told them it was unacceptable and they got a room ready after we hung around for 20 minutes. No apology. They didn’t seem to care at all and just looked put out. So I was surprised to see a bunch of literature in the room waffling on about how customer service was a priority to them because it certainly didn’t seem to be. Unfortunately we were put in a room directly below reception and could hear not only constant stomping above and the grating of chairs being dragged across the floor but the room next door had screaming kids making a racket and it was directly in front of the lifts so anyone at the lifts could also be heard because the room had no sound proofing. There was also building works going on so there was a constant hammering and sometimes drilling. I woke up at 4am at one point and they were drilling! Totally ridiculous. The room was nice. Great bed and pillow if a little firm. Well laid out and the shower was excellent. I’d like this shower at home. Giant tv we couldn’t use as there were no international channels at all and the screen sharing thing wasn’t working for us likely due to our eSIM. Nice kettle and free mini bar of bottles of water, tea and coke. A fruit bowl appeared when we got back from being out which was nice. Breakfast was so so. Mostly eastern catered. They have congee and dumplings from 9.30pm til midnight which was great. Location was excellent. Less than one minute to underpass to metro and 10 mins walk to the Bund. On Nanjing rd which is bustling with shops and restaurants. But if you can’t get your room til 6pm and then can’t sleep due to the constant noise then location and nice furnishings don’t matter a jot! Don’t stay here unless it’s much cheaper than we paid. The hotel we stayed in the day before at less than half the price was far superior.

The hotel location is easy to find and the overall environment is good. The front desk staff was very helpful during check-in. I had originally booked a windowless room and just casually asked if I could switch to one with a window. To my surprise, the staff member agreed! Thumbs up to him! 👍👍 The room facilities are also great, with a mini-fridge and complimentary drinks.
