A very nice hotel with a lively atmosphere in the lobby area. Conveniently located near malls and coffee shops and not too far from the metro stations. The room was quite spacious and well appointed with tea / coffee making facilities and toiletries provided. The bed was also comfortable and large with plenty of pillows.

Staff are well trained and polite, efficient. Food and Beverage, good varieties of selection and tasty dishes both at 33rd floor and Ground floor buffet serving . Service staff are polite and efficient service . Level 2 smaller eating place serving Chineses dishes has room for improvement in terms of service and food quality. Overall , very good experience for the stay.

The hotel is conveniently located near Xujiahui. It gave us good access to Xuhui, Jing'an. Better yet, it was an easy trip of less than one hour to Disneyland by metro. We were pleasantly surprised to find there was a refrigerator in our room. The sofa was a perfect bed for our daughter. It worked so well for us that we stayed an extra night

Best of the best! Great location near the Hongqiao train station and airport, clean and spacious room, amazing breakfast(my kids loved the Korean Ramen!) and not to mention wonderful services! We will revisit for sure when we come to Shanghai!!

The hotel is in a good location, less than half an hour's drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, 900 meters from Exit 2 of Xingzhong Road on Line 9, and close to Gudai Road on Line 12. The main part of the hotel is located behind Xingbao Shopping Center, at the intersection of Hongxin Road and Caobao Road, quiet in the bustling city, suitable for people like me who are sensitive to sound. The front desk is equipped with thoughtful small items. I was in a hurry to go out and forgot to bring makeup remover oil. The beautiful girl at the front desk gave me 2 pieces of makeup remover cotton, which solved the urgent need for coal. The overall evaluation of the hotel: the room is large, clean and tidy, the service attitude is very good, the facilities are decorated in the old Chinese style, but the maintenance is good and does not affect the use. For 300 yuan in this area of ​​Shanghai, I am still very satisfied!

Clean spacious room, nice and quiet as the room faced inwards, away from traffic. Helpful staff who can speak some English. Comfortable bed, nice seating sofa area and overall good value for a few nights in Shanghai. 10-15 minute walk from Loushanguan Road subway station. Near cafes and restaurants (there’s a mall opposite the subway station too). Would stay again.

Awesome location, very big property with spacious rooms an the lobby. Travelled with family, wife had bad experience during breakfast one of the waiter (a guy) was rudely responding which spoiled the mood. However breakfast options were good! There’s room for improving customer service.

We had a delightful experience at Xie recently. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained. All the staff, from reception to room service attendants, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially when we were sick during our stay. Our little one adored her toy and cute little slippers, and she wanted to return immediately. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a mix of old and new. By this, I mean you can tell that some areas are worn from over the years and some parts of it you can tell they have made effort to try and restore. We stayed in this hotel a few days before heading to Disneyland and then back to the hotel for one final night stay. We asked if we could leave our luggage at their storage room and that was no problem at all. There is a mix of English speaking staff at the lobby, so be prepared to have Wechat translate to hand just in case. We were lucky with the staff we spoke to and language barrier wasn’t a problem. For our first stay, we stayed in a room at the 18th floor and it wasn’t fancy but just what we needed. Windows outside were dirty but it didn’t bother us, since it’s outside. We booked the 2 bed room suite. There was a living space for the adults to relax while the kids sleep in the bedroom at night. I liked that you could actually control the heating and it wasn’t too drying compared to previous and more fancy places we stayed in Shanghai. There’s a washing machine so you can wash clothes when packing light. It is only a washing machine and not a dryer. They provide washing powder (free) and a hanging clothes rail, you just need to call reception and ask. In the kitchen there is an induction hob but no pots or pans are provided. It didn’t bother us, since we had breakfast included with our stay. There was sufficient selection for breakfast. If you go a bit later, certain foods are not replenished. I think they were understaffed the first day of our stay, lots of tables were free but they had dirty dishes on all of them, so we had to ask someone to clean a table for us. The following days were fine. Fruits were left in our room after each clean. On our stay back, we stayed in a room on the 15th floor for one night. They should not let people stay in that room, especially with kids. Parts of the wall of the bathroom is very damp and the wall’s paint was crumbling. The plumbing was not great either, the drain in the main shower room came off and it was just bare concrete and a hole exposed. You could hear water flowing all through the night so we had to close the bathroom door so we could sleep. Since we mainly just slept that night and checked out early in the morning, we didn’t bother complaining and was in the rush to get to the airport so no pictures were taken.
