LLianlianqingchenThis hotel is really nice; the lobby is grand, and the service attitude is good. Most importantly, the hotel's buffet is delicious, and the beef potstickers are absolutely amazing (yyds)! It's my first time having freshly made ones at a five-star hotel, and it was incredibly satisfying. We watched fireworks from the hotel at night; honestly, they were a bit far, so if you're specifically going for the fireworks, it's better to watch them closer. The front desk even gave a small gift to my child when we left. The only downside was that the air conditioning felt a bit stuffy at night – not cold enough when off, but stuffy and a bit dry when on. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, and the highlight is definitely the delicious buffet for its price point. We had a wonderful New Year's Day here! 😄

The hotel boasts a wide array of themed family rooms, such as Princess rooms, Kuromi-themed rooms, Marvel superhero rooms, Lego rooms, and slide rooms. These thoughtfully designed rooms are very popular with families. The staff are warm and proactive, providing considerate services like stroller rentals, shoe dryers, and afternoon red date ginger tea. Rooms also come equipped with special toiletries and slippers for children.

SSuoFlareI've never willingly given a hotel a perfect five-star rating, but this one deserves it. The location is absolutely fantastic, right above IFC and surrounded by major shopping malls. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Disney Store, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Bund.
Even though it's a 10-year-old hotel, you really have to stay here to understand just how incredibly well-maintained it is. The service is practically on-demand; they respond to almost any request incredibly quickly. While they don't automatically deliver takeout to your room, you can call concierge and they'll bring it up.
The hotel breakfast offers a good variety, and everything tastes delicious. 'Variety' is relative, of course – it can't compare to places that specialize solely in breakfast, but it's very good nonetheless.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any family or friends who need a place to stay in Shanghai.

GGuest UserVery technically advanced hotel BUT not suitable for families with young kids at all!
1. No door to separate the bathroom from the bedroom area. My busy infant kept trying to open the facet in the shower - What if he'd burnt? Additionally, after taking taking a shower we'd have to use towels to soak up the water so that the baby wouldn't slip and fall. Real health and safety hazard.
2.No iron in the bedroom - 1 personally went downstairs to reception to ask for one and then went out for about 3 hours. When I returned there was still no iron for my clothes and I had to call twice again.
3. Queen sized room is super small. For 2000 RMB for a weekend it was quite disappointing.
4. My infant could open this window. Where's the safety? He can climb, what if something had happened?
5. Waste of space in the room. There's an open section for something - not sure what, but it could've been used to extend the bathroom areas.
6. We didn't receive a free cot as per the advertisement.
Overall it was an okay stay for the intended trip.

OOmoshiRokunThis hotel boasts a superb location in North Bund, offering unbeatable views of Lujiazui right outside the window. It's hard to believe the room facilities are ten years old, they're in such excellent condition. The round bathtub, in particular, easily accommodates an adult. Before arrival, the butler contacted me and informed me of the check-in time, yet I still had to wait over half an hour to check in, finally getting into the room around 4 PM. This isn't what I'd expect from a Banyan Tree property. Breakfast is served on the first floor, and you can order snacks at your table. What's fantastic is that it's served until 12 PM, making it perfect for a city vacation vibe!

Choosing Pullman Jing An for my trip to Shanghai completely exceeded my expectations – it's truly a hidden gem! The location is absolutely unbeatable, just a 1-minute walk to Exit 5 of Shanghai Railway Station Metro, making it incredibly convenient for catching high-speed trains or exploring the city. Getting to the Bund or Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street takes only about ten minutes by taxi, so transportation is a breeze.
The room was a genuine sanctuary of comfort. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning city views, and the bedding was so comfortable I never wanted to get up. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a rain shower, which was wonderfully refreshing after a long day.
The hotel facilities were impressive. The 20-meter heated pool on the 6th floor has fantastic natural light, and the fitness center is equipped with state-of-the-art machines. After a workout, a relaxing spa session melted away all my travel fatigue.
I have to commend the dining and service! The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, with Chinese dim sum, Western pastries, hot dishes, and cold dishes all replenished promptly and fresh. The staff were consistently warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, the concierge proactively helped with luggage, and any requests were handled super quickly. It felt as comfortable as being at home. I highly recommend this hotel for both business travelers and tourists. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Shanghai!

There's also an amusement park, which is pretty good. They offer some paid activities like rock climbing. Breakfast is decent, with options kids will enjoy. Plus, there's Happy Valley, Sheshan National Forest Park, and the Botanical Garden nearby. Bob's service was proactive and enthusiastic.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for one night during a business trip and overall had a smooth experience.
The price is very reasonable, and the hotel itself is fairly ok. They also gave me an upgrade when I checked in, but I can’t say how that room was different to the one that I booked. The rooms and breakfast were both okay — nothing outstanding, but perfectly fine for a short stay.
One of the highlights is the convenient location, with many dinner options nearby, which was great for our needs.
I appreciated the welcome cookie, although it was quite hard and crumbly — a nice gesture, but not very tasty.
One small inconvenience was that I couldn’t get a Chinese invoice (fapiao) directly at the hotel; instead, they told me to request it through the booking app, which I found a bit unusual.
Despite these minor issues, it was an easy and pleasant stay. I would definitely consider staying here again if I need a hotel in this area at this price point.

He seemed like a real food enthusiast and confidently told me their breakfast was excellent, urging me to try it on my first visit. He was absolutely right!
