Nice place to stay for one night after the hiking. Directly on the end of the hiking tour. Food was good and they organised a bus which brought us back to Lijiang. We enjoyed the time. If you take a hot shower just give it some minutes for getting hot :)

A dorm bed was the only option left when I booked. The dorm was super clean and spacious, fresh new, but the bed was hard as the mattrass is thin and placed on wooden board. If you are tired after the hike, you will sleep well. Best view from the bar and terrace ever.

the linen not clean and the toilet floor not have good leverage hence the water is stagnant near to the door. but other than that,everything is good.and have an amazing view of the mountain and sunrise.

Facilities: everything you need The boss is very nice. Every night when the stove is lit, everyone will warm up and chat together. The boss will lead the team on hikes, and everyone will exchange experiences and provide opinions together. The atmosphere is really good. Lao Huang is really cute. Suitable for foreigners. Great location in middle of town near bus station on the pier near to the boats no heating so very cold at night but thick blankets, electric blanket and hot hot shower with shampoos etc. I went off season so had the whole room to myself! Helpful staff, rang and told me how and where to get the airport bus the next morning. No water in rooms but can use water in the rest area

We are from Thailand, we stayed here for 2 nights here. The owner,he picked up us at the gate of old town,he’s kind and helpful to us . I love the warmed-floor in the room. Although we communicated by google translate but he always gave us the answers what I asked😊 if I hv a chance to visit Shangri-la again, I’ll stay here again

Since it was the rainy season when I went there, the mountainous area was relatively humid. Since the inn is located halfway up the mountain, it is very quiet and the air is very good. The lighting in the room is dim, so it is recommended to add a desk lamp for travelers who like to read. Since we were traveling with two elderly people on this trip, the female boss upgraded us from a double room on the first floor to a double room on the second floor, which was great👍. The Jinsha River Tiger Leaping Gorge canyon is divided into upper, middle and lower levels. Among the three sections, the middle and lower sections are very steep, rugged, and the roads are narrow. The Jinsha River Canyon section is full of collapsed houses and rocks during the rainy season, and the precipitousness is far more than 318 (see the picture for details). Therefore, it is strongly not recommended that you go directly from Lugu Lake during the rainy season. The shortcut (only 188 kilometers) is from the East Ring Road under Tiger Leaping in Tiger Leaping, because you may be risking the safety of your family. The 17-seat Iveco minibus and The following cars can pass, but they need to back up and turn around at the corners. It is not recommended for RVs and mini-vehicles with low horsepower to go on this road. They may not have enough horsepower to go up the corners and risk slipping. Finally, let me talk about the Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area, which is indeed spectacular during the summer water closure period. Summer is the most worthwhile attraction in Shangri-La!

The front desk girl was warm and thoughtful. She upgraded our room for free and carefully explained to us the tour route and important attractions of the ancient city. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the TV was big. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a parking lot and you can park for free. The hotel is not far from the ancient city. It takes more than ten minutes to walk there, which is very convenient. Outside the hotel is a small city park with green trees and beautiful environment. It is also nice to walk around here after dinner!

This small family run hotel was our favourite on the tiger leaping gorge hike. They took the most care of us compared to the other bigger establishments we stayed at. The room was large and spacious and had an electric blanket and shower products. It had a view of the mountains. The staff are incredibly nice and provide you with free tea and even gave us some walnuts from the tree! We are vegetarian and there were many meat free options in the English translated menu. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

I have been looking for a Tibetan-style inn online for a long time, and I was not disappointed when I came here. The newly renovated one is very clean~ the decoration style is very good, it is the type I want ~ Downstairs there are clothes for free to help with dressing ~ The inn is very close to Sifang Street and Guishan Park, and you can see the prayer wheel in the yard~ The night view is great~
