Ctrip Diamond upgraded the room type for free, but did not agree to give it to a room with lake view. Instead, it gave us a balcony room on the 3rd floor of Zone B with mountain view, which was quite nice. Parking is convenient, with both ground and underground garages, and ground charging piles. We walked the Shangqing Ancient Road the next day and came back to rest for another night. Because the room was stuffy, I turned on the air conditioner for cooling (only cooling and heating), set it to 18, and the indoor temperature was 25, but it was getting hotter and hotter, reaching 28. I called the hotel and they responded that there was no air conditioning and it was under maintenance. They said they could provide fans, but there was clearly a hot air conditioner (I didn't operate it myself, it was just unified heating), so I had to turn it off. Mosquitoes were buzzing at night, and the liquid mosquito coils were colorless and odorless and ineffective. I didn't dare to open the French door because there was no screen door, and I was afraid of more mosquitoes, so I didn't sleep well. The next day I tried the air conditioner again, and the room temperature was 26. I turned on the cooling mode, and it was 27 in a while. I hurriedly turned it off, and it returned to 26 after a while. I went to buy mosquito repellent, and mosquitoes came again at night. I immediately sprayed the mosquito repellent from head to toe, and finally fell asleep all night. So the air conditioner and mosquito problems are the only flaws.

The hometown is a brand new and newly opened hotel. The feeling of staying for one night is as follows: 1. The location is excellent, you can travel easily, and it takes 2 or 3 minutes to walk to Lu Xun's hometown. Although it is on the small road and in the downtown area, it does not affect your rest and travel. Calling a car is convenient for elderly children to stay and travel. 2. The service is warm, the front desk Xiao Zhou is kind and kind, helping to take luggage and lead you to the room. The breakfast waiter was also very warm and thoughtful, and helped a toothless elderly person make a soft breakfast, a lot of intimate. 3. The facilities are brand new, simple and generous, clean, comfortable and modern. Every time I book a room, I like to read other people's bad reviews, but this time I hardly saw any bad reviews. Even if it was 🈶, the hotel had made plans in advance! Sure enough, before I stepped into the hotel, Xiao Xi, a staff member of the GRO department, called and patiently asked me if I had any requirements for staying? Hey! It's true 🈶, because this trip is my birthday trip, and my family of three came out to celebrate 🎉, and I was still worried about where to order a cake in this strange city? The enthusiastic Xiao Xi readily agreed to prepare a birthday cake for me 🎂. When I finished the hotel's delicious buffet and returned to the room, what came into view was a warm party scene, which was really heartwarming! Thank you very much to Xiao Xi and Xiao Gao and Xiao Yang from the housekeeping department for giving me a surprise. There was even a turndown service and delicious green bean soup, a summer dessert, at night! (Delicious) Since some buildings of the hotel are under renovation, the hotel informed us warmly in advance in order not to affect the guests' stay, and helped us upgrade the room! This advance plan is really amazing. I can't help but sigh that the management of Xianheng has done a great job. The hotel is very conveniently located. Next to it is the former residence of Lu Xun. Take advantage of the night to go shopping. There are not many people. It is convenient to live close! I have a wonderful stay in Crown Plaza Shaoxing. I definitely miss the lovely queen bed which is so conformable and no worries about insomnia. I have to say special thank you to Doris for being caring and showing good manners . I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel next visit to Shaoxing.

Got there around CNY eve, so things were a bit on the quiet side. Parking was a bit chaotic at first with cars parked all along the entrance, it was not clear where to park until I went inside and asked. Check in was quick and to my pleasent surprise the checkin agent Gary spoke English very well. He was extemely helpful and and accomodating. He even explained that breakfast would be included because of CNY. The hotel was very clean, room was clean. The hotel is at a very good location, central to many important areas in Shaoxing. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Check out was simple and the overnight parking fee was taken care by the hotel. Overall, the hotel has the quality, look and feel that you would expect from a Holiday Inn brand hotel. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future. Many families with kids too. Please note if traveling around CNY, certain restaurants etc may be closed for the holiday.

Lovely hotel located next to most popular old town street, Cangqiao Street. Also back of hotel is the labyrinth of lovely old waterways. It is set back from main street thru a narrow lane that car cannot access. However is a short lane where you can walk in easily. Or you can call up hotel to pick you up in their golf cart infront of Kong Yi Ji Restuarant on Cangqiao Street (only 5mins away). Breakfast spread is sufficient and delicious. Love my hotel room which is large with modern gadgets. I like to thank this hotel's front desk staff (sorry didnt get her name) who helped me in her off duty time at the side of the hot main street trying to solve my prebooked taxi to Ningbo. The didi rid hailing driver somehow went to wrong pickup address and refuse to budge which eventually i have to cancel it. This wonderful young lady used her mobile app to book my ride cos my app just can't work anymore. A note on the didi linked to Alipay or wechat, very frustrating experience for a foreigner. It will work fine initially then later keep asking for a new credit card input to proceed. Does not work with the new credit card too. Do setup other rid hailing app. besides didi. My Ningbo taxi driver said to call this taxi phone no. 95128 in china (standard no. used in whole of china) to get a taxi, but i have yet to try it out.

The hotel itself is a big park, with a good location and convenient access to everything. The Green Tea restaurant is delicious, the breakfast is delicious and rich, the room is clean, and I will stay here again next time. I have selected 5-diamond hotels throughout my trip to Jiangnan, and this is the best hotel.
