2-Star Hotels in Shilin

Great location just a short bus ride to the Shilin AAAAA Park. The bus stop is very close to Mijia Inn. On the same street are several places to eat, and around the corner is a shop to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. The room is spacious and very clean, with good air-con... it was very hot when we visited! Downstairs is a cafe with very good coffee and nice ambience. The owner is friendly, and altough she does not speak English, she is patient with my (very poor) Chinese, and she helped us to find the grocery shop, etc. In the room, there are slippers, shampoo, etc, and the hot water pressure is excellent. A very relaxing, quiet, and clean place to stay if you are visiting the rock forest or the nearby caves. It is a good value for the price.

My stay was absolutely a delightful experience. The host Chu Da is a kind, sensitive, and gracious person. He made sure that our needs are met. He volunteered to drive us to Shilin scenic area, free of charge. He was always there to help us. That level of hospitality and generosity is very moving. He rendered our relationship more than just a business transaction. He is very sincere and available to help, and yet not intrusive. He is a man of few words, and even came across as a very shy and reserved person. But it was a pleasure to be around him. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is an ideal host. His house is aesthetically pleasing and tasteful and enjoys state-of-the-art facilities. My room felt like a five-star-hotel room with a balcony. The backyard gives the whole house a space of tranquility. Chu Da apparently loves life and living. All the plants and flowers both inside and outside of the house are well cared for. Chu Da has a son who was there too. I find his son a delightful child who resembles his father in both appearance and personality. Their house is centrally located in the Yi Ethnic Village and yet enjoys a very secluded corner that feels very private. With all these amazing qualities, this place is yet so affordable. The level of service that I received made me feel that it’s actually underpriced. Highly recommending this place to you. I would stay there if I were going back, which is very likely given that I had such a wonderful, albeit brief, visit.

The location of the hotel is very good. There is a convenience store downstairs and there are restaurants nearby. The facilities are quite complete. There are blankets in the room when it is cold. The environment is clean and tidy. It is a good choice for family travel. Recommended

The boss is enthusiastic and generous. Several niche attractions were recommended by the boss. We avoided the pitfalls perfectly. The horse meat downstairs is really delicious and not expensive. I will recommend it to friends in the future. The room is clean and hygienic. The only problem is The good thing is that there are no windows, the sink has no floor drain, and the air conditioner in the room does not have a water outlet and is connected by a bucket. I heard the sound of dripping water all night, but it is good to book such a clean room at this price.

Great stay! The staff were kind and the rooms were clean, wish the breakfast was more foreigner friendly couldn’t eat breakfast unfortunately. The rooms were nice and affordable, the staff even advised us on where to go for the best experience in shilin. We had so much fun, would definitely recommend to a friend. 😄😄

The boss is really good, and he helped me change to a quiet room with good lighting. Thank you very much. This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did. Thank you from Sarah, Myriam and Fabio.

As soon as we arrived at the store, the boss asked us to be locked into the room for disinfection, otherwise it would be cancelled and some people felt very uncomfortable. They wanted to give the service 2 points. Later, thinking about the period of pneumonia, I cooperated with the disinfection. In the morning of the next day, a white piece of snow is said to be a heavy snow that has happened in decades. Fortunately, the boss burned the fireplace red, and even the warm wall in the room burned and changed color. It was warm and it felt so comfortable! Simply change the itinerary and stay one more night.

The room is large, the boss is very good, and it is convenient to find food around.
