Hotel Tenzankaku Yurakuan

This is an abandoned hot spring hotel. Because there are no staff at all in the hotel facilities. You have to check in at another hotel of the same group. It is definitely not recommended to stay if you don’t have a car. It is not recommended to stay here if you are just a girl, because it is quite desolate and scary. The hotel door is locked and requires a key to enter and exit, but it was really surprising that there were no employees in this regard. The interior of the room is clean and tidy. There is no bathroom in the room. You have to take a bath in the open-air hot spring in the room. The hot spring is 24 hours a day. The temperature of the hot spring on the mountain is relatively high, but you can adjust it yourself. The floor is made of historic moss wood, and the overhead lamp was the most surprising part to me. Therefore, it is recommended that only if you have boys and drive by yourself is the best choice.

I was pleasantly surprised to open the window and look at the blue Pacific Ocean while soaking in the private hot spring. I really liked the room. It was large, clean, and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night. It was very close to the Sandejiki scenic spot. It was a very good experience.

Because I missed the last bus to Shirahama and had no way to get to the hotel, I tried to apply for a refund from the hotel through trip.com, but the hotel refused the application and kept the original reservation. It's a pity that I didn't stay. I wanted to experience Shirahama's hot springs and bathe in my own room.

The hotel is very good overall, the staff service is very good, and the hot spring is very comfortable. We chose the outdoor hot spring room, the hot spring is in the room, facing the sea view, and the check-in time is relatively late, which is very suitable for us! 

The location is convenient, but it's old-fashioned and acceptable. The indoor hot spring is super good and the staff is super polite. There were three bottles of juice wine left by the clerk. It turned out that they were not available for purchase outside, but fortunately they were available.

This hotel is completely self-service. If you arrive before three o'clock in the afternoon, the door will be closed. No service staff will call the phone at the hotel door, and they can't speak English at all (we know that check-in cannot be done until after three o'clock in the afternoon, but at least the front desk We need a receptionist to store our luggage.) In the end, I found out through Ctrip and Google Translate that I had to go to another place to check in after three o'clock. This process is really troublesome There is no problem with the service of the hotel itself. They are purely self-service. However, Ctrip lacks necessary instructions and reminders to guests, making guests think it is an ordinary hotel. Ctrip has a great responsibility for this.

If you are not traveling by car, it is not recommended because the local transportation is only private cars, taxis and sightseeing buses (the last bus is around 18:00, not sure), and the check-in area and the check-in area are on separate sides, and there are no nearby You have to walk 800 meters to find a 24-hour convenience store, and any nearby shops and restaurants will close after 7 p.m. However, after you check-in, the local waiter will drive you to your accommodation in a private car.
