The property was undergoing renovations on the ground floor, which disrupted access to things like the exercise and pool. The pool pump was also not running, as the water was less than clear. So don't plan on swimming.
Our room was not a clean we expected. There was a sticky stain that looked like melted candy, but it was there and we had to avoid it. Splatters on the wall in several places and mechanical issues, like the wall sconce had become unscrewed and was loose on the wall. There was no mention of a "green" program anywehere on the property that we saw and the maids each day took all the bath linens and replaced them instead of letting us reuse. Even soap and shampoo was completely replaced each day instead of allowing it to remain for a multi-day stay.
A guest should expect that the manager would be inspecting the facility and the work his team was doing, but it didn't seem like there was a lot of managerial attention to the place, particularly to the way it was being maintained and cleaned.
