Smoking room additional charge was fine but is situated at 2nd floor low level so scenery view is limited. No mineral water provided, although there’s a kettle to make hot water; 2 sachets of coffee and tea provided. Additional towel request for small kid unable to take from the housekeeper; must take from reception which is always busy. Call via phone took long and went unanswered so couldn’t get additional towel for kid. Most of the staffs look annoyed in serving the foreigners. But appreciate staff courtesy of smiling back. The pool open quite late at 10am if not wrong. Overall enjoyed the stay coz the kid love it

Booked triple room, and the size was enough if compared to other hotel in Singapore. Old hotel, but maintained well. Will consider to stay again here...

Hotel is very clean and super cozy .. would love to staycay here again. But the only problem is the tv sound feedback & some light flickering in the toilet (sometimes) but stopped after I settle down myself

Check in very late and check out early as 7am for working purpose. The single room ideal for someone that like privacy and a quick nap. The room clean & tidy. The shower quite big not like other single bed hotel I'd stayed before. I so happy this hotel provided toothbrush,comb, shower cap, tea & water bottle. And I love how the receptionist so helpful!

Got an upper bunk room for 2 nights and enjoyed my stay! Room was small but clean, and the switch controls are strategically placed near the bed. Layout was ergonomically designed. Walls might be thin but it wasn't peak period so I wasn't affected. There was construction but I was out the whole day so there wasn't noise pollution. Clean and spacious bathrooms with multiple stalls reserved for women was a big plus! Soap dispensers were constantly filled, but I wish the bidet worked. Location is amazing, with 2 train stops nearby serving different lines, easy to get around the city. Plenty of food options nearby and Maxwell Hawker Center is amazing for breakfast. Highly recommended stay here when you're visiting, especially as a solo female traveller! Great value, good safety features, easy check in.

Nothing to gush about. The service was so so. The air con temperature has to inform the front desk which she didn't highlight upon check in. What the point of having the aircon control in the room than if you're unable to control the temperature on your own! And sitting at the toilet you can see that the old property wasn't ame wasn't completely wipe off you could still make out quite clearly the name of the previous hotel. To think that I paid for a premium room with amenities so sparse the shower room hasn't even got a place you can put your toiletries to shower and just a pathetic 2 tubes of I think was a shampoo or a body lotion. I would give it just about 3 cos the location was great. Don't let the exterior fool you though, it looks like the hotel was in a hurry to open. With some sprucing up it has got potential. Oh yes, train your front office to smile and greet the customers first and teach them basic English

Cleanliness in toilet is acceptable. No hair strand found, no insects detected as what the other reviews shown. Was almost perfect until there was obvious dust on the hanger. Crept me out bcuz it's really a whole chunk of it on the hanger. No plug in charger to charge my device close my bed which is a hassle. At the corner of room it was quite a quiet place of cos still able to hear walking steps, ppl talking but it was still bearable. Aircon is working well. Overall it was still a ok night out since I'm out for business trip. Just downstairs have alot of food stores even have convenient store a plus point.

Overall, despite its old furniture, I like the hotel. However there are some rooms that are smaller especially those with xx9 ending. However since there were any rooms available, they fulfilled my request to change the room. If you ride MRT, you can stop at Havelock to reach the hotel. I love the location since it is not too crowded but still near to some facilities.

The hotel room is spacious & clean. There is smart tv whereby you can login into your netflix, prime and etc. Toilet is quite decent too but there is a musty smell at first, didn’t air it well after housekeeping.
