It was a spacious room, nice and comfortable mattress. Although it is next to the main road, it was quiet at night.
Lovely view to the back, they call it river view. It is a cannel where had a lot of ducks, geese and swan swimming up and down.
A good place to stay.

My room was comfortable and clean but the bathroom left much to be desired. 1 bottle of hand wash was provided only. No soap. No complimentary toiletries. No tissues. The shower sprayed water all over floor so it was wet most days. No bottled drinking water provided and no hotel shop to purchase any.

Beautiful building with gorgeous outlook. Breakfast fabulous, rooms comfortable and pleasant except the windows All misted up on the inside. Made thrm look filthy 😒. Staff helpful and polite

The room was very basic but clean, the bed was super comfortable, had an excellent nights sleep.
The hotel is in a great location where you can access the canal side and have an easy 30 minute walk to Skipton.
The spa facilities were shabby, jacuzzi not in use, steam room with little steam and pool area very tired looking.

What a lovely hotel with friendly welcoming staff. We spent two nights there after finding a deal on Travel Zoo. The room was large and comfortable warm and clean with plenty of white fluffy towels and an abundance of tea coffee and biscuits provided. There was a small gym and swimming pool and the restaurant overlooked the Skipton - Leeds canal with barges frequently meandering past. The tow path goes on for miles and miles. I wish we could have spent longer there to explore what is breathtaking countryside.

We arrived a little earlier than the 1500hrs check-in time but the staff happily let us in. Our room was massive a good 1/3 larger than the norm. Like the room our bed was massive, king size at least and very comfortable, the room had a full-size wall-mounted TV and we had lovely views of the countryside and the sun setting. We had bar meals which were very tasty and well-portioned, if I did have a complaint it would be a pint of Guinness costing £6.60p, but that said the bar had a variety of seating arrangements to cover all tastes. The breakfast was all self-service and again covered all tastes from the traditional cooked to continental and vegan, I had the cooked my first morning, and all the choices were of good quality and very tasty, I had the continental the next morning and again I was not disappointed on both mornings our table overlooked the canal adding to the enjoyment. As for the staff, they were very helpful, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would I stay again, YOU BET I WOULD...

I booked with Groupon for the Sunday lunch 2 course dinner. Lovely hotel in a nice location, friendly staff and accommodating. The first course arrived very good, the pork lion roast was very poor. Potatoes were frozen not freshly cooked, meat didn’t have any toast or crackling as stated. The gravy was watery, Yorkshire pudding cold. I know we got it at a reduced rate but if you want customers to return get a new chef. Thankfully we didn’t pay full price because I would have been very upset. The afternoon tea looked better
