5 Sterne gibt es von mir selten , aber hier kam ich nicht drumherum weil alles gut war Das Zimmer in der ersten Etage sehr geräumig. Modern , hell Arbeitstisch Kleine Minibar mit 2 Wasser kostenlos großer Flachbildfernseher und Ventilator für heiße Tage Und ja. Der Ventilator hat trotz eines heißen Tages ausgereicht. War fast ein Karibik feeling. Das Badezimmer groß mit einer richtig großen Dusche und Wasser auf Knopfdruck. Das hatte ich auch noch nie ! Frühstück alles dabei was man braucht das Hotel selber macht auch Brasserie für mich auffallend war die super freundlichen Bedienungen An einem heißen Tag immer freundlich und lächelnd das hat schon was Wer Burger mag sollte den Hamburger mal probieren für mich ein echter Gaumenfenuss aber das ist bekanntlich Geschmacksache Ich komme gerne wieder

My wife and I wanted to go to Sluis for 3 nights and stayed there from 21/05/2024 to 24/05/2024. Almost everything was very good. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and a nice location in Sluis center. Everything was really clean and the beds were perfect. The room was cleaned perfectly. Due to a defect (the carpet on the first floor was visibly dirty) I gave Very good instead of perfect.

Friendly owner and staff always up for a chat. Good beds, beautifully maintained hotel room, tasty breakfast, delicious dinner. The only point of criticism was that the carpet in the hallway was unfortunately full of stains. In short, a great hotel for a great price.

Beautiful room with a view of the water. Perfect shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking at 200 m at €5 per day. We also ate in the hotel restaurant and this is also recommended. Sluis is also a very pleasant town with many shops and restaurants. We will definitely go back there!

We were 4 and stayed at the Rivers overnight on Friday 26th May. When we arrived the terrace of the Hotel/Restaurant was heaving with people enjoying food and drinks in the sunshine on the terrace overlooking the canal. I was received at reception with courteousy and kindness whilst stressing about parking somewhere, but was quickly sorted and advised. We settled into our 2 very modern, spotlessly clean and well stocked rooms overlooking the canal. We ate a hearty dinner on the terrace and by 20:00 all of the street became peace and tranquility as last servings were at 19:30. Perhaps for the benefit of neighbours. The 9 roomed accommodation was a delight, and breakfast was ample and delicious. I would totally recommend Sluis and this Hotel especially. Many thanks Rivers !!

When I read the comments I thought I was going to a friendly hotel, that was not the case. The kindness of the bosses is non-existent, no hello. Access to the hotel is from the outside and you have to cross the restaurant and the terrace, the stairs are very steep. The breakfast coffee is disgusting, for the salmon there were only two slices without restocking. Otherwise on the positive side very clean, right in the center

Disinterested staff. Filthy carpet in the hallway. Coffee and tea maker in the room but without coffee and tea. Mediocre breakfast with bad coffee and little choice. The fresh orange juice is a plus. Beds not nice with mattresses that are too soft, pillows that are too hard and duvets that are too hot. The temperature in the room cannot be regulated and the furnishings are unfortunately poor. Just sad really...

Cozy beautiful room with all the trimmings, fantastic breakfast (with really fresh fruit juice) and very friendly staff, quiet location, private parking (a little further in Sluis, we will go back (already booked ;-))
