Sorrento Spa Hotels

The Hotel Continental was the perfect hotel for our Sorrento-based portion of our vacation. Every single staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the concierge, to the breakfast staff, was kind, considerate, and pleasant. One of the gentlemen who works the breakfast was always singing and whistling, which always brought a smile to my face. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of options. I am gluten-free and dairy free, and they had plenty for me to eat. They had at least five different kinds of milk (regular, soy, almond, rice, etc…) and had a basket of assorted gluten-free muffins and bread. We booked an inside room with a hotel view, and I was nervous about what the room would be like. It was perfect! It was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Surprisingly, our room had a balcony, but it overlooked other hotel balconies. No problem since we were rarely in our room. The hotel is adjacent to a park which has an amazing view of the sunset. We did have cocktails on the rooftop bar one night, but they were a bit pricy compared to the area restaurants, so we only did that one night. The hotel is also within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and the steps to get to the marina, and you could walk to the train station if needed.

Sorrento's best hotel by a long chalk rejoices in a great position above Marina Piccola. We come back every year, and can honestly say that this is our favourite hotel for its outstanding staff, atmosphere and ambiance. The super efficient staff are always pleased to welcome us. We always look forward to drinks on the terrace in the evening and enjoying the outstanding views. One of our best meals was at the hotel's Terrazza Bosquet , where the service competed with the food for all round excellence. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Apart from this being a beautiful hotel in an ideal location, the experience is made exceptional by the amazing front of house team. Especially their enthusiasm to ensure we had a great time, and we did! Thank you all for helping us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Special mention for Sofia, Vanessa, Eduardo, Francesco and Guiseppe. Hope to see you again soon. One constructive suggestion for management is to add an alternative, casual, dining option for the evenings.

The environment is very good, just on the cliff by the sea, the sea view of the Mediterranean Sea is in the bottom of the eye, the hotel breakfast is also very good, although it is not very suitable for the Chinese stomach, but it is quite rich, the restaurant view is also great, get up early in the hotel to have a breakfast, the mood is very good . The hotel has a private beach, but it is not a beach of sand. It is rock. It can directly reach the beach by elevator or down the tunnel and swim directly in the sea. If you don't want to swim in the sea, you can swim in the hotel pool, which is very suitable for vacation. The fly in the ointment, the room always has a taste. When driving the car, because the navigation problem is always open to the hotel, in fact, the hotel to the Sorrento Central Station is also 7 minutes walk, location, landscape, matching, are unparalleled.

We loved this hotel and location a lot. Our first trip to Sorrento and my partner proposed on a private boat trip in Amalfi so the hotel holds a special place in our hearts. It’s peaceful, the staff are wonderful, food and drinks are very good. Views over the water to Naples are beautiful especially during sunset. The room was gorgeous. The beach bar and loungers by the sea were so peaceful with more lovely views over to the port. Big comfy loungers, massive pool, great service there. We would love to come back next year. We booked a pick up from Naples airport to the hotel via reception for easiness and it was great and quicker than expected. Our room was ready early. The only tiny tiny thing I’d say is a welcome drink would be fab especially for a 5 star hotel, and water topped up more regularly in the rooms but I won’t knock down a star for my thoughts ❤️

The Grand Hotel de La Ville , is a very friendly and comfortable hotel well situated only 5 - 10 minutes walk to the centre of Sorrento. We arrived early and were very grateful that our room was ready at 11 a.m . We really appreciated that our request for an early check-in was able to be accomodated. If they couldn't there was a safe place we could've left our luggage if we had needed to. Our room was a Premier sea view on the fourth floor affording excellent views over The Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius. The views from the 5th floor and the rooftop bar are even more impressive. The room had everything you'd need with plenty of storage space. The king-size bed was very comfortable with the best pillows I've rested my head on in a long time.There are plenty of power sockets including a multi-connector phone charger and a UK plug socket . All the staff were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. It was my wifes birthday whilst we were there and the hotel generously left a bottle of sparkling wine in our room for her on the day, a lovely and much appreciated gesture. We would definitely recommend this great hotel and hope to return one day when back in Sorrento.

We stayed for four nights at this hotel and loved everything about it. The views over Sorrento from our room and the public spaces are incredible. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have excellent air con. No complimentary water in the room so be sure to pick some up in town. Great service from the friendly bar and restaurant staff. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection and they have a chef cooking eggs to your requirements. It’s a short walk downhill from the hotel to the centre of Sorrento. Oh and the pool is even prettier than it looks in the photos. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a brilliant holiday at the Grand President Hotel. Such a wonderful hotel spacious rooms, a high standard of cleanliness and brilliant food. The staff are a real asset to the hotel a particular thank you to our wonderful cleaner Maria Grazia who was always so friendly to us all and did an excellent job, it’s people like Maria that made our holiday so special.

We stayed in a superior room with garden balcony. The room was a good size with a huge double bed which was really comfortable and included a large screen tv on the wall. The room includes a security deposit box and a small fridge. The bathroom was nicely decorated and had a shower over bath, large washbasin, WC and bidet. The room was very clean and decor was good. We were half board and found the food to be excellent with a buffet style of dining which catered for most tastes. I liked this as it allowed me to try many of the local dishes but there was always something available for the less adventurous tastes. There was an A La Carte menu available as well as a lunch menu (neither included in half board). The staff were always happy and courteous and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The hotel boasts a gym, spa and good sized swimming pool. There is a well stocked bar with live entertainment 3 nights a week. The hotel is very well situated to go into town. A 5 minute walk and you arrive at the Corsa Italia in the old part of Sorrento and only 17 minute walk to the railway station.
