Fantastic building and grounds. Outstandingly reception by the owners in a beautiful, ancient, but modernised house in a lovely setting. What could be better? Staff were attentive and friendly with excellent food and a nice retreat. Plenty of parking as well.

Outstanding. We stayed last year and were so impressed booked again. When it is Galton himself that delivers the canapes it's a bit of a masterchef moment. The food is beautiful, the wines excellent and the staff so keen to make your stay the best it can be. Particular mention to Pippa ( the sommelier) her enthusiasm for the wines and her recommendations were faultless. Will be booking again asap.
