In contrast to my previous stay at a nearby 5-star hotel, this hotel provided a much more enjoyable experience. The highlight was the fabulous view overlooking Nanjing Pedestrian Street, which was absolutely stunning. While both hotels had their merits, the view here definitely added to the overall positive experience. Overall, I had a good stay, and I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great location and beautiful views.

It was a great experience in Shanghai puyan hotel. The hotel is really close from the nanjingdonglu train station, it's about 5 mins by walk. And the view of hotel is heading the dongfangmingzhu tower! Especially, the hotelier Shirley, she help us in the kindest manner! She helped us to change to a new room with great view when we check in, And at the end of stay, we lost something in our room, but she helped us to find the missing luggage! Room condition also great! Scent, water, bedding, everything. I recommend to visit in here!

Beautiful hotel, perfect location. The staff made us feel extremely welcome - special mention to the lovely Jasmine Chen from the front desk and the lady duty manager at the breakfast restaurant who’s customer service and attentive nature was a blessing.Will return if we visit Shanghai again. Hotel location is the best of best. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel gate and visitors spots are very near, we satisfied with environment. All staff are so kind even they used translation apps to communicate with non-chinese speakers. One thing that we can't say excellent is weak cigarette smell is really faint whole room. I guess it's coming by bathroom ventilation.. however if we have another chance to visit Shanghai, we will book this hotel again!

Love this hotel! We are from Malaysia and did DIY travel ourselves. Free and easy. This hotel location is 100% perfect - just across the metro station (Laoximen) and walk up 800m you will find a mosque (for muslims). So halal food is also nearby. If you are up to people watching, walk up further you can find Yuyuan Garden! This hotel is the perfect location for us! The check in staff, despite not speaking English well were great and Yi Mo and friends definitely tried very best to make our stay enjoyable. Kudos Demores Hotel. Will recommend you guys definitely!

- Location: The hotel has a superior location, the front desk staff Qiao Yin provides very good service, and the transportation is convenient. You can take Metro Line 10 to the core area of ​​the city center, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, iconic tourist attractions Yu Garden, The Bund, People's Square, Shanghai Museum, etc. You can also go directly to Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao Railway Station.

My friends in China recommended this hotel and told me that she loves it because it’s relatively inexpensive compared to similar hotels in the area. She also stressed that it is a native Chinese brand hotel that it is easier for her to order food and just anything she needs. I was pleasantly surprised by its decor, service, cleanliness and modern amenities. Our room had a nice big tub, huge shower and toilet with bidet. It’s been a while since I visited Japan and I forgot how nice to have a bidet. The breakfast was a nice addition to our stay since it is included. It served both Chinese and American breakfast with some nice local dishes. The decor is modern Chinese Jiangnan style featuring paintings, Calligraphy, and 3-D animation of gold fishes. I enjoyed working out at the gym as well. Super clean and all equipment are easy to use. There is a Pilate room as well. I didn’t have time to enjoy it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not to mention that I asked for a power cord, it was delivered by a robot. Five star experience! .

Service: 10/10. My mum and I were greeted at reception with warm tea and snacks. Honey (张小姐) added us on Wechat (Chinese social media) and provided us with food times and amenities for our stay. Location: 10/10 Amazing location. It's around 15 minutes walk from WuKang building which is the start of the famous Shanghai Citywalk. The hotel is 9 minutes walk from the closest metro (HengShanLu). Hotel: Perfect 👌🏼 We were given floor level 21 and had SPECTACULAR views. Absolutely superb. 💯 Food: Buffet breakfast. Afternoon OR evening tea included. Plus 1 bowl of noodle at night. What more can you ask for?! 10/10. Overall, I will recommend friends and family to stay. If you are deciding, stop & book right now!
