Hotel near Fengxian Development Zone,Shanghai
Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai is located in Fengxian, the eco-friendly heartland of southern Shanghai. The hotel adjoins the A-level theatre Shanghai Nine Trees Art Center and is surrounded by the 7,000-acre Central Ecological Park, and it is a nature-infused retreat. The hotel features 229 guestrooms .Three distinctive restaurants and bars serve as vibrant social destinations: SOLA & LUNA all-day dining restaurant, inspired by the northern Mediterranean, evokes a sun-drenched coastal spirit; SONG, the signature Chinese restaurant, offers creative Jiangsu-Zhejiang cuisine; ECHO bar draws inspiration from natural caves, inviting guests to escape the ordinary. In addition, the hotel offers light-filled, highly flexible meeting and event spaces for inspired gatherings and social moments. Seamlessly blending modern wellness concepts with Kimpton’s signature playful social spirit, the hotel brings guests a range of novel experiences: EverNine Spa & Wellness (featuring an indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, and more), an outdoor plunge pool, Nest Kids Club, and Zombilee Pet Park. Here, guests can unwind amidst greenery, recharge through gourmet socializing, and unlock new possibilities in life.

"So lucky! I became the 'top player' at the Kimpton Qiaotou Art Center Hotel! As a parent who loves taking my kids to hotels, I was so excited! It's so close to home! A 10-minute drive, and we can switch into vacation mode with the kids. **Environment**: The transportation is very convenient, right next to the Qiaotou Art Center. It's perfect for families with kids if you're coming for a show or exploring the Shanghai Fish area. The hotel has many outdoor areas, including a beautiful 'mini Monet garden' that really touched me with its details. Fengxian truly excels in its ecological efforts. On rainy days, you can see small snails and frogs, and the kids loved exploring. You can even spot small hedgehogs on the roads around Shanghai Fish. **Facilities**: For family trips, the children's needs are paramount. The hotel has an indoor children's pool. We booked a courtyard hot spring room and got upgraded to a suite. We confirmed with the butler a day in advance that we had two kids, and they thoughtfully prepared children's toiletries and slippers. This attention to detail was truly impressive. The room also had a small step stool and a sink for babies. Due to time constraints, it's a bit of a shame we didn't get to experience the small climbing wall in the children's center or the late-night bar time for parents. **Service**: I have to say, the service is top-notch! Especially our butler, Miss Zhou Ling, who was incredibly gentle and patient. Also, the ladies in the Chinese restaurant were so thoughtful; when our baby fell asleep during dinner, they kindly rearranged the order of dishes. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Because our baby was particularly mischievous, the front desk attendant was quick to provide a first-aid kit to disinfect a small wound. In the afternoon, there was a 'social highlight' with juice and cookies, which the babies loved. The evening turndown service attendant was also very kind, and there were afternoon tea snacks, welcome fruits, and cookies. **Hygiene**: It was visibly very clean, which is a big concern with a baby, especially regarding hand hygiene. The toilet layout was quite reasonable. I just wish there were tissues on the tables in the restaurant. The Chinese restaurant had quite a few mosquitoes in the evening, so I hope that can be improved. Even with the electric mosquito repellent plugged in, the mosquitoes in the room were quite resilient. Two small frogs suddenly appeared in the hot spring pool at night, which made the children very sad. I also hope they can add more trash cans in the wet areas of the room. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Easy to manage the kids, freeing up your hands – the experience is definitely excellent! The only thing that felt a bit lacking was the all-day dining buffet breakfast. The yogurt selection was a bit repetitive, and the wontons didn't taste particularly fresh. I'm a big food lover. The pizza was creative and unique, perfect for adults. Perhaps my baby was too young for spicy food. The pasta, however, was quite good."

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give a special shout-out to Penny from Guest Relations. She proactively called me before check-in to carefully ask about my needs, and her demeanor was warm and considerate. After connecting on WeChat, she promptly responded to all my inquiries, from check-in details to various last-minute requests, always arranging everything perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout my stay. The check-in process upon arrival was smooth and efficient. The overall environment was clean and comfortable, and both the soft and hard amenities were excellent. The staff as a whole were highly professional. From the initial communication and assistance during my stay to the seamless overall service, everything was spot-on, making me feel genuinely cared for. It was a completely pleasant and worry-free experience. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel again if I'm back in the area. Highly recommended!

I messaged them on WeChat beforehand to arrange a birthday setup and a personalized room key, and everything was perfectly arranged on the day of check-in. Upon arrival, Angel personally escorted me to the room, explaining the hotel facilities and the surrounding area along the way. Julie even gave me a small lion keychain. The service was impeccable, and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was on the 52nd floor with an amazing view. A foreign lady in a red suit brought a small birthday cake and arranged a window-side sofa seat for me. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking Lujiazui was a wonderful experience. The room faced the Bund directly, offering an unparalleled view. The pool was well-maintained, and I particularly enjoyed the hot spring area. While the hardware might be a bit older, as the saying goes, 'an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari' – the classic charm and quality are definitely there. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

J Hotel Shanghai Tower

Art in the Clouds, a Pillow of Pujiang Moonlight – An Immersive Experience at J Hotel, Shanghai Tower People often say that luxury living is about ostentation and art is something to be admired from afar. Yet, at J Hotel, perched 632 meters atop the Shanghai Tower, these two finally coexist and blend harmoniously. It's a flowing art museum, suspended above the clouds, filled with Eastern essence and international aesthetics. During my two-day stay, every step revealed meticulous craftsmanship, and every glance was poetic. The eight-meter-high Chinese-style entrance, with its transparent crystals, reconstructs memories of old Shanghai. Vermilion textures, interspersed with tiny crystals, refract subtle light, weaving the vibrant life of Shanghai with modern translucence into an opening overture. Before even stepping into the elevator, one knows this is no ordinary hotel. Six transparent crystal Roman columns rise directly from the marble floor to the arched dome, where Eastern and Western aesthetics gently converge. The marble floor's ripple patterns subtly evoke landscapes. Strolling through feels like wandering through a private art gallery, with every turn hiding an unexpected aesthetic surprise. The 'J' logo is deconstructed into four magnolia petals, hinting at elegant character. There's no excessive, cluttered extravagance; only restrained, high-end brushstrokes narrate the unique Eastern romance of a domestic top-tier luxury brand. It doesn't deliberately pursue Western opulence but firmly upholds the unique warmth and depth of local culture. A perfect five stars, wholeheartedly recommended. I will definitely return for this artistic encounter in the clouds. True art never forcefully grabs attention; instead, it subtly permeates the soul, much like the service provided by Eve Xiang.

Booked this hotel for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and their birthdays. The hotel found out and immediately arranged for a Peninsula cake and fruit. The cake was so delicious we ate it all before I could take a picture! My parents mentioned they liked the tea bags, and the staff promptly provided more for them. They also quickly came to teach them how to use the coffee machine. My parents were very happy. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and the location is superb. We also went to the jazz bar on the 14th floor to see the night view, which was absolutely stunning.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and tidy with a great view. Our butlers, Deslin and Lily, provided attentive and thoughtful service, proactively following up on all our needs and responding quickly. Any issues we had were promptly and properly resolved. Their considerate care was just right, and the cleaning was very timely, with towels replaced swiftly. This made the whole trip feel very pleasant and is highly recommended. It's also worth mentioning that the cleaning staff on our floor on the morning of our departure were very friendly, once again highlighting the hotel's meticulous service. I hope the hotel can pay attention to the showerhead and sink faucet in the room, as the water pressure is too strong and often splashes out, getting clothes wet. The room offers a different Banyan Tree themed incense or essential oil (optional) daily.

I stayed at the Pullman for a week and had a wonderfully comfortable experience overall. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. From check-in to daily housekeeping, the staff were consistently polite, courteous, and attentive. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of options, catering to different tastes, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meals every morning. The hotel lobby's greenery and floral arrangements were simply elegant, and the overall environment was quiet and refined. The facilities were well-maintained, and the room was clean and tidy. Even for a longer stay, it never felt dull. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation, and I highly recommend it!

When I was choosing a hotel, I fell in love with the room at the Shanghai Club at first sight, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The room was even more beautiful than I imagined, with meticulously designed details everywhere. It felt exquisite and elegant, perfectly matching the hotel's overall style. The hotel's service was also top-notch – professional and just the right amount of warmth, which made me feel very comfortable. If I had to point out one thing, the room might have been a tiny bit damp, but in Shanghai, and in an old building, that's understandable and didn't affect my stay. The breakfast options weren't extensive, but there was enough to eat, and the taste was decent, neither outstanding nor poor. The main draw here was definitely the ambiance. Although I didn't sit at the bar in LongBar, the sofa seating was still an excellent experience. I really enjoyed the 'retro' style of service here. Perhaps because of the typhoon, there didn't seem to be many guests, which gave me the luxurious feeling of having the space almost entirely to myself.

I brought my child for a stay, and my little one was quite happy with the hotel. A female staff member on the W floor, who was guiding us, also had a great attitude – very warm and proactive in asking if we needed any help. In the evening, I planned to go to the bar for a drink and enjoy the night view after my child fell asleep. Around 9 PM, feeling a bit cold, I wore the hotel room's bathrobe and room slippers to the bar on the fourth floor for a quick drink, all without leaving the hotel. Upon entering, they first verified my guest status, and a male server led me in. As we were walking, the staff member told me to go back and change my shoes and that bathrobes weren't allowed. I paid a high room rate, used the standard hotel amenities, and was consuming within the hotel, so why should I be dictated on what to wear? There were no dress code notifications at all. They didn't inform me upon entry but waited until I was inside to tell me to leave. If there really is such a rule, the hotel has an obligation to clearly communicate it, perhaps by placing a sign where the slippers are provided. What's more, the male server even mentioned they had replacement slippers (these were plastic, not disposable), which clearly indicates they know guests might come in disposable slippers. Are they just trying to make things difficult for people?

We booked a suite for our wedding reception to host both sets of parents. When the housekeeping team helped us bring up some of our luggage, they even came along to specifically wish us a happy marriage! I was so touched. Then they adjusted the air conditioning for me because I was decorating and they were worried I'd get hot. They turned it down and even introduced me to the room's mini-bar! Later, they also sent up some fruit for me 😊 It was delicious and so fresh! In the evening, they proactively asked if I wanted turndown service~ The breakfast in the morning was especially good, with seaweed sticky rice cakes, and I even had the Shanghainese specialty 'Shuangdang Soup'! My parents and family all said the dinner banquet was excellent! The seafood received particularly high praise – it was incredibly fresh, the lobster was springy, and the beef cubes were juicy. The two-way roasted suckling pig was also very unique. Everyone in the family was very satisfied, including the wedding cake we ordered at the end; they all said it was better than cakes bought outside. It was a very happy experience.

This stay at the Conrad Shanghai was truly wonderful, thanks to the attentive service from the hotel staff. A special shout-out to Ivy, Freya, and Quain-G, who upgraded our room to a higher floor with a fantastic view during check-in. They even prepared a birthday card and cake, which was such a thoughtful touch—a big thumbs up! 👍 We also received coupons for the Long Yu Peking Duck, drinks at the 65/F bar, and breakfast. The food was delicious and unique, and the views were stunning, adding a delightful surprise to our trip—another thumbs up! 👍 Beyond feeling incredibly welcome this time, the hotel's location near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the subway station is very convenient. The lobby also has space for taxis, making it easy to get around. I'd definitely love to stay here again if I have the chance.
