wxhereThe view from the room is excellent, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a picturesque view of the Yulong River and its surrounding landscape. Parking is available downstairs, and there are slow-charging stations. Rice noodles are served for breakfast. The staff are very welcoming. There is an elevator connecting the floors, and the rooms are tastefully designed throughout. As a guesthouse, it offers excellent value for money.

Charming Stay Near West Street – A Cat Lover’s Paradise with Artistic Touches 🎨🐾
I had an incredibly cozy and memorable stay just steps away from bustling West Street. The room was clean, comfortable, and came with a lovely balcony offering serene mountain views—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided.
One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable.
She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place.
If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱
A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby.
Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings.
Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

Guest UserThis guesthouse, or 'minsu' as they call it, actually surpasses many mid-to-low tier chain hotels. They offer free breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts, and while the selection isn't huge, it's pretty decent. The laundry room is incredibly well-equipped; there are two of them on-site with plenty of washing machines and dryers, which is super convenient for long trips. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a brush in the laundry sink. They've also thought of many thoughtful little details, like bags for clothes, disposable and regular slippers, conditioner in the bathroom, earplugs, unlimited bottled water, and even a tip in the room advising guests that they can hang clothes near the air vent. The hotel also sends daily WeChat reminders about meal times and asks if I want my room cleaned (though this is standard for chain hotels, I've stayed in guesthouses that don't clean your room during extended stays). All in all, it's better than many big-name hotels; I even asked the front desk if it was a chain hotel! The only slight downside might be that they don't offer a shuttle service in Yangshuo city, but taxis are very convenient and quite affordable. There's also a place to see lotus flowers nearby, but the water level was high these past two days, so I couldn't enjoy that.

Guest UserAn absolutely amazing hotel! Before I went, I saw the opening year and was worried the hotel might be too old, since I usually only stay in luxury hotels that opened within the last four or five years. I even called the hotel to confirm. They said it opened in 2019. I really wanted to visit Guilin but couldn't find any suitable hotels, so I booked this one. The actual stay far exceeded my expectations!
Each room is a villa with a large private pool. Getting around is easy with electric buggies that are available on call and arrive super fast! The service is excellent!
Breakfast was also incredible! It's à la carte, just like the resort experience we had in the Maldives! And everything tasted great! Fresh ingredients, and the chicken was so tender!
The hotel villas are surrounded by lush greenery, with stunning reflections of the mountains and water – absolutely beautiful! Riding in the electric buggy, with picturesque views and a cool breeze, I even felt like my skin improved and I looked prettier, haha!
There were also many young, handsome male staff members, and their service attitude was exceptionally good!!!
Everything was perfect!!! No exaggeration, my first trip to Guilin over ten years ago with a tour group and a bunch of older ladies left a terrible impression. This trip completely changed my perception of Guilin! This hotel deserves a lot of credit for that!!! It's a hotel my family of three would definitely visit again!

cecily123After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel!
I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag.
After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom.
Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over.
When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room.
For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

SiwenchulongStepping out onto the balcony, we were greeted by breathtaking karst ink-wash mountain views. The Impression Suite was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family with kids – no cramped feeling at all. The hotel seamlessly blends Northern Guangxi charm into every detail. The butler service was incredibly warm and prompt. And the clouds encircling the mountains? Absolutely stunning, takes your breath away! Our whole family completely relaxed. This is definitely a perfect choice for a family vacation in Yangshuo!

Guest UserFor first-time visitors to Yangshuo, staying on West Street is an absolute must! It's incredibly convenient and I didn't find it noisy at all. Definitely rent an electric scooter from your hotel; it's cheaper. While there are many places to rent scooters outside, the prices vary. This hotel offers great value for money. There's a small kids' play area on the ground floor, and even though it's not huge, my little one loved it and had to play there every day before heading out and after coming back.

The Yangshuo Lisa Boutique Hotel is a simple place, but a real hidden gem.
Cozy, authentic and beautifully maintained – exactly what you look for when you want to feel at home, even far away. The staff, almost entirely female, are extremely kind, patient, always helpful and genuinely lovely. Their smiles and care make all the difference.
Breakfast is excellent and generous: you choose from three dishes, but portions are large and well-balanced, both sweet and savory. I stayed in room 307 and it was fantastic: traditional tatami with a motorized pull-out table activated by a button (such a cool detail!), a relaxing atmosphere and a stunning view over the city and the karst mountains. Spotless cleanliness with daily cleaning and linen changes – always perfect. I also highly recommend the spa massages inside the hotel:
professional, relaxing and truly rejuvenating – the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Highly recommended:
a simple hotel, yes, but with soul, style and great attention to detail. A true little gem. 💎

Anonymous UserGreat location. It's located at the start of West street. We arrived during the Qingming festival and street was really busy. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.

This is kind of disappointed experience. First of all, one of the toilet couldn't flush and needed two nights to repair, which I only stay there for three nights. It took so long to repair was because the staff made the mistake on the room (there are two rooms in this suite).
Second, one of the air-conditioner was not cool at all and only half of it functioned. It didn't repair during our stay. You can imagine how uncomfortable and hot at the room when everyday is above 30 degree Celsius.
Lastly, the room cleaning service really confused me. The staff will only clean your room only when you tell the reception you need the cleaning service every morning. This is not a big problem but the problem is NONE of the staff, including the staff during my check in or the staff on duty in the morning, told me that I have to do so to get the room cleaning service.
Except the unsatisfying service, tbh, the view of the room is great and balcony is really spacious. It was a little bit sad that we could't enjoy it too much due to hot weather. It does deserve to have a stay if you want to enjoy the view.
