Stayed in the Cloud room with a private onsen in the balcony facing an awesome view of the lake. Room was clean and spacious with a generous supply of amenities. Visited the public bath as well but was nothing impressive. Beer and yakult was provided free of charge in the hotel lobby. Note that if you are traveling with young children, they change an extra ¥2500 per child just for them to be in the room, no extra beds provided and breakfast is a separate charge. Breakfast served was exquisite and in a private dining room which we appreciate. Overall nice experience but just one night is enough as the town is very quiet and the room price is very steep.

The building is old, but the interior has been renovated with calm colors, and the 3300m2 Japanese garden that can be seen from the lobby is a beautiful sight. The large bath, which is generously paved with agate power stones, is spacious and beautiful with three colors of blue, red and white stones, and there are many washing areas, so you won't feel stressed even if it's crowded. The open-air bath is also large and open, so it's very relaxing. In addition, the men's and women's baths are switched the next morning, so you can enjoy a variety of options. The prices are a little high, but the food is delicious and I was able to relax and enjoy the beauty-enhancing hot springs.

We also used the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and also ate at the restaurant. This was my first visit to the building since it was renovated, and the view is outstanding, with Lake Shinji right in front of the hotel. In the morning, from your room window, you can see more than a dozen small boats catching freshwater clams, a specialty of Lake Shinji. The restaurant ``Avantia'' offers a wide range of cuisine, including Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine, with approximately 50 types of cuisine served as a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My daughter's favorite meat dishes include roast beef, chinjao loin, vinegared chicken, and fried chicken, as well as delicious desserts.

I stayed for 2 nights on my first Shimane trip. When I arrived at the station of Matsue Shinjiko Onsen, the appearance of this inn that can be seen far from the station is a little old. The hotel swan and the hotel ichibata in front are too new, honestly, a little disappointed. However, all the staff are very kind and friendly, and the room I stayed at this time is a room with an open-air bath that has just been renovated. Also, there is a kind of side dish of color 々 that I can't eat. I can't eat dessert fruit! Then, please say that it is okay to bring it to your room and eat it. The large communal bath was large and very comfortable. The distance from Matsue Shinjiko Onsen Station was also 7 minutes walk somewhere, but it is convenient to take 5 minutes on foot. The first impression was completely the opposite and it was a very nice stay. It is an inn that I want to stay again.

Because it was raining in the weather forecast that I checked in advance, I gave up hanging around the hot spring town and wanted to see the famous Lake Horido! I took the inn here away from the hot spring town. The room was also renewed in a room with a view of Lake Hodo, and I was able to spend it comfortably. In addition, the hot spring has a shuttle bus to the hotel choseien of the sister hall, and it is possible to enter the vast open-air bath like a pool called 100 Tsubo (with mixed bath bath bath) I had a really enjoyable experience. In addition, I also tasted the open-air bath that can see the lake in this hotel, and it is a simultaneous gain. This shuttle bus connects JR stations, hotels and sister buildings in hot spring towns, so you can enjoy the hot spring town on your way back and then send it to the station, and the quiet scenery of the lake view I think you can enjoy the bustle of the hot spring town and become a reliable foot for tourists.

The hotel is opposite JR station. You need to take the underground passage and then cross the road. The bathroom in the twin room has a separate shower, so there is no need to cross the bathtub. There is a laundry room, but you need to buy laundry detergent separately, so you can bring your own laundry balls. Washing and drying are paid separately. Personally, I feel that 30 minutes of drying is not enough.

I feel like I found a treasure when I stayed at this guesthouse. Everything about it is peaceful. To start, you are on the tiny Daikonshima Island. Then when you enter the small guesthouse, all the details and design make you feel comfortable and at home. The beds are cosy and give you privacy, and there are views out over the fields. It is right down the road from the famous Yuushien garden. You can also rent bicycles for an affordable price to peacefully explore the tiny island. The host is kind and will make you feel safe and at home. He speaks wonderful English and I really enjoyed talking with him as I learned about Daikonshima.

RRaymondTo be honest, the location of the apartment is not bad, and it is very convenient and easy to locate. The only thing to criticize, if you are asking me, is that it is so close to the traffic which cause a bit of noise. It is clean and tidy and have most of the daily necessities. We loved the cooking utensils especially the heating plate.
There are lots of restaurants and very need to Lawson. A great place to stay! 😄😃👍👍👍
Ttrip_memorysI stayed here for the first time after a friend recommended it to me.
As a result, it was a really nice inn! I really recommend this place.
I was a little worried about staying here as a solo female traveler, but the storefront was stylish and I was excited even before entering the inn.
You take off your shoes at the entrance.
And above all, the rooms are cute! They have a Japanese modern feel, with Japanese patterns used on the cushions and accessories, and the wallpaper design is also lovely. They are also well-cleaned and have a sense of cleanliness. They serve ramen called ”Yonaki Soba” for free in the evening. There is an open-air bath and sauna in the large communal bath, and there are plenty of amenities. There is all-you-can-eat ice cream in the post-bath area. Lactic acid drinks are available in the morning.
And the breakfast is lavish! It's definitely worth it. I ate too much in the morning (lol)
EERBfdOne of the best decisions we made during our recent trip to Japan was staying at the Ohashikan. We stayed in a standard room overlooking the Ohashi River. The room was large and quiet. The futon beds were placed on top of foam mattresses and were very comfortable. The wifi was very good. The staff, especially James, were friendly and very helpful. Ohashikan has an excellent location. It is a ten minute or so walk to the Matsue Castle and the Castle area which includes Lafcadio Hearn’s Residence and Museum, and a longer walk in the other direction to the center of town and the railroad station. On the first night we dined at the hotel’s restaurant. The Japanese food was wonderful. Even if you don’t stay at the hotel go to the restaurant and enjoy the food at Shosuitei. We opted for the western breakfast which was also excellent, The hotel recently started a bar and grill, The Willows, on the 2nd floor with a long bar overlooking the river with James as the bartender/host. He offers specialty cocktails and superb Japanese whiskies. Its hours were Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30 to 10 pm when we stayed at the hotel. In addition to the local sites, if you have time, take a day trip by train to the Adachi Museum of Art in Yasugi with its garden. When you exit the Yasugi train station there is a free shuttle bus that takes you to the museum. If you travel to Matsue a stay at the Ohashikan is highly recommended. It will help make you visit a very special experience.
Eealing_yangWe loved this hotel. Room size is above average for Japan and it is clean and modern with nice bathroom. Unlike other Japanese business hotels, the bathroom here had a separate shower/bath room from the sink and toilet so it was spacious. The breakfast buffet was really great with ample choices of western and Japanese foods. Location is nearby train station (and many other hotels). The only downside was that the hotel had switched to winter heating system so the only way to cool the room was to open the window. Definitely would stay there again if in Matsue.
GGuest UserWe stayed using national travel support. The customer service of the distance feeling without leaving was very good impression. The hot spring is a very soft and light feeling with the quality of Tamatsukuri spring. It was good that the public bath was a little cleaner. What impressed me was dinner and breakfast. Each item was carefully prepared and the taste was very delicious. Breakfast was a buffet style in the hall where corona measures were taken, and I was very satisfied with the large number of items. Tamazo Onsen is not a big hot spring town, but there are inns along the river, and the scenery is very good for a walk in a yukata. If I had the opportunity, it was an inn I would like to stay again.
ZZHIBINGet off at Tamazou Onsen Station and walk for 15-20 minutes. It should be the hotel closest to the tram station on Onsen Street. There are no supermarkets or places to eat nearby. The hotel izakaya will open after 8pm. It is recommended that the convenience store prepare some food in advance. You can take a taxi when you get off the bus. The journey is not expensive. The hotel’s free shuttle bus is in the morning, between the tram station and the hotel. The hotel is a bit old. The breakfast is quite substantial.
I stayed at this Dormy hotel in April 2019, and chose it again for a two-night stay because it'd worked out well, and again, I wasn't disappointed. I think I may have even been in the same room! The quarters were plain and compact, and with no view to speak of, but well-designed and equipped, especially for working on the laptop - great desk space, easily accessible power sockets and good wi-fi. I loved having the amplifier, something most hotels don't include. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a mini tv (and welcoming duck), with a larger one in the bedroom. The complimentary inclusions were appreciated - for example, ramen in the evenings, bath salts (bonus), and peach jelly in the fridge. The reasonably-priced breakfast was good, and featured perfect tempura! The hotel is near the JR station and a 10 minute walk to Lake Shinji, 15-20 to the castle. Staff were efficient with tasks such as forwarding luggage. Overall, excellent value!
We stayed 2 nights at this ryokan and may have been the only westerners there, but that did not fase the staff. They tried constantly to do the right thing, despite our lack of Japanese. The roof top Onsen is perfect, the room was very comfortable and well equipped and the meals were outstanding. Try a kaiseki dinner if you have the time and capacity; we had 2 and they were superb.
GGuest UserI stayed in a room with an open-air bath for refreshment. The open-air bath in the room was a little hot, but I got used to it after taking a bath several times. I wanted to relax, so I changed dinner to a room meal. He was willing to accept the offer on the day.
JJinnyShihThe hotel is 5 minutes away from Songjiang Station, close to the supermarket AEON, the hotel facilities and rooms are very old, the room is filled with a subtle smell, the sound insulation is also very poor, the bathroom is super small in the bathtub, it is difficult to take a bath and turn around, it is not recommended to live long, the service staff is very kind, the foreign language is also generally accessible.
