"First off, as other reviews mentioned, the lobby guard was very friendly and opened the door for us. The breakfast was decent, and the facilities were cleaner than I expected. However, this price point just doesn't feel right for a hotel in Southeast Asia, LOL. One thing that was disappointing was that the shower drain was clogged. Even after just one person showered, the water overflowed, and since there's no threshold in the bathroom, it almost flooded the bedroom/entrance area. When the second person showered, they had to turn the water off periodically. I wondered why it was clogged, and then I saw that after the first shower, the shower filter was about a third full of hair/gunk. I specifically chose this place because other hotels had reviews about hair in the drain, but this one didn't. Turns out, it was even worse here. At this level, they must be getting a lot of complaints, especially for a 5-star hotel. This should be a mandatory cleaning item every time, but it wasn't cleaned. It was astonishing that a manager had to come the next morning and clean it with a toothbrush."

KathhhThis is such a well-managed and beautifully maintained co-living space! I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and immediately fell in love the moment I stepped into the building. All the vibrant colors and youthful design made the whole space feel so energetic—it literally gave me an instant mood boost.
Not only was my room clean and cozy (and I loved the partial ocean view!), but all the amenities and facilities were excellent. Everything from the water dispenser and microwave to the coworking space, gym, swimming pool, and vending machines is well provided. What I loved most was the laundry room; it costs 340 pesos in total for washing (35–45 mins) and drying (45 mins), and they even provide the laundry detergent! Just one tiny thing, if smart TVs could be available in rooms, that would be a huge bonus (current one is just a regular one).
The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, which truly made me feel at home. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. It’s surrounded by convenience stores and supermarkets, and within a 30-minute walk, I could easily get to Atua Midtown and even Ayala Center. If I ever come back to Cebu, I will definitely stay with Lyf again!

Guest UserOur family had a wonderful stay at Castle Peak Hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with our needs.
What truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional customer service. We had planned an early morning swim, and the hotel staff went above and beyond by opening the pool earlier than the regular schedule for our group. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and made our experience even more special.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Small acts of kindness like the extra effort made by the staff show how much they value their guests.
Thank you to the entire Castle Peak Hotel team for making our stay enjoyable and memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cebu and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Guest UserWe had a fantastic time at Cebu R Hotel! The standout feature is definitely the staff—they are incredibly nice, friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate our large group when we ate together in the dining area.
They offer free breakfast to start your day, and the top floor features both a small gym and a relaxing massage place. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely come back again!

Location is the best thing about this hotel literally in the center of all. convenient store, ATMs, fast foods, restos, name it , and all is just within reach, by foot.
In front is a park where you can walk early morning or late aftie till night.
Staff and specially guards on duties are very welcoming and helpful.
room that we booked is at the 5ht floor (509), it is big and clen, ideal for our family group (2 seniors, 1 adult and a toodler). senior and child friendly hotels, ad they have elevator.
soap toothpaste toothbrush shampoo towels blankets are all new and clean, AC is cold and new. with safety box, small fridge. free water bottle to all.
It has an inhouse resto, thou i learned different management, but still ill recommend coz their breakfast is so good! (they charge for room service), So i suggest just go down to the ground floor where they're located to eat .
the hotel is such a good catch and well recommended
