2-Star Hotels in Springfield

The hotel is being renovated but that is not the problem. The contractors have apparently painted around objects instead of moving them. The room smells like pot or something skunky. There is NO security, anyone off the street can enter the hotel. 2 of the 3 light bulbs were burned out in the room. We have one pack of coffee for two of us to share, there is no tissue...okay, there are 4 tissues but not nearly enough. Front desk was pleasant but does not have a great command of the English language. I am being generous with 2 stars. My advice, if you can afford it, look for something a little better quality that Wyndham DOESN'T own. They are tanking in the hotel biz :(

Hygienic: OK, it feels clean and tidy. Environment: The room is very special, with a purple tie. Service: The front desk staff is OK, warm. Efficient. Several people lined up to check in at that time. But they were all fast.

I have stayed at this location in the past and my experience overall was great, thus me rebooking again this time. I arrived at the hotel and checked in just fine, I went to my room, and it smelled horrible. I did my routine check of the room and the sofa bed had dirty linen on it. The bathroom smell was bad and there was hair on the toilet and in the tub. I went to the front counter to complain, and no housekeeping was present. I asked for cleaning supplies and clean linen for the sofa bed as I was not staying in a room of that nature. I cleaned my bathroom took pictures of all of the filth and changed the linen. When I asked to speak to a manager, she advised me that I would have to wait until Monday, although I was checking out on Sunday. I asked the you lady to call the manager, ultimately, they sent someone to clean the room but the fact that I had to clean it myself initially was impaling to say the least. I come to Springfield every year at the same time, I will have to reconsider if this will be my hotel of choice next time.

Hotel centre, but practical.

From check in to check out....perfect! Front desk was very efficient and helpful at check in pointing out good area restaurants. He also invited us for their happy hour with food. Room was impeccably clean and everything worked. Breakfast was propabaly the best chain hotel breakfasts we have had. Great selection and plenty of it! Will return!

Fast quality, star price, behind the gas station, next to the high speed, several nearby motels, about 600 prices, do not like to live here, very disappointed.

This hotel is advertised as having a pool and breakfast. Neither of these are accurate! The pool was out of bounds and they apparently had 'no staff' for breakfast. It took us nearly an hour to get into our room because they gave us the keys to an occupied room at first!! And then the locks didn't work on the next available room. The hotel didn't think they should compensate us for the breakfast we had to purchase and worse of all when we contacted the hotel, they barefaced LIED about is 'using the pool'! Wyndham needs to take a good look at this hotel and I would caution anyone thinking of booking here. if the staff are willing to lie about you after you leave, what else are they capable of? Book somewhere more trustworthy. And shame on Wyndham for falsely advertising and refusing to help me recoup any money.

Pros: Great value, convenient location, friendly staff. Very clean. I like the rooms with hard floors, seem cleaner. Cons: Definitely bare bones. No fridge, microwave, clock. There would typically be coffee and a microwave for guest use in the lobby, which wasn't available due to Covid. I get it, but there was no coffee anywhere on site. That was hard! Maybe at least could have had a vending machine for coffee along with the other vending machines for snacks and drinks.
