Very good place to stay. The garden is very good and well maintained. The breakfast was also nice. No complaints as such.

The property is very well located and has an old world charm to it. The garden is just lovely. Our only issue was with the food. B fast was a bid odd as there would hardly be any accompaniments with idli/paratha. It was almost impossible to eat these things dry. We ended up having bread and butter mostly. In terms of taste, dinner was not something to look forward to. Of the 5 nights we stayed, we ate only once at the home stay. Stay was excellent but the food left a lot to be desired.

Lovely place with a lovely garden. In the quieter part of the city. The owner was toking care of the garden when we were there. The only thing we disliked was that the washroom was not spotlessly clean n hot water was not available at all times.

what we felt — it was not a home stay — that was home (not the home stay ) , beautiful house ,caring staff — clean and hygiene at dining — we wish to come and stay again and again at same place

Excellent staff, big rooms, nice location. Only issue is food is not so good

The rooms are clean and neat but the service was very very poor. One of the staff members was simply very rude to us when we asked(well in advance) if rice could be made for us for dinner. He was not only unaccommodating of the request, but also rude to us. When we got to our room on one of the days, we found opened milk packets which was not used by us. The cleaning staff might have opened it and left it as is. Did not expect this sort of a behaviour given the good reviews the property has. If one is willing to compromise on the service, this property fits the bill for the room is clean and neat over all. The breakfast was so-so. Bijoy was simply rude when any additional request was made .

Stayed in Super Dlx garden facing ground floor room it was very spacious well decorated and has comfortable sofas and bed. A big bath room some of the furniture here was ageing and unclean could be better maintained. The shower was not very effective. Having stayed in many hotels in Srinagar including Lalit I would like to stay here again. Wish this place was non veg or at least serves eggs for breakfast. Definitely insist on the Kashmiri veg food it’s one of the best I have had. But it was only possible for 1 meal out of 4 nights we stayed there. What could be better is the breakfast as they served Maggie for and punipaniyaram (a Tamil evening snack without chutney) . There are not much options for breakfast. They should say on booking that they will serve fruits and bread/ parathas only The non Kashmiri dinner we had once and decided not to have again as it wasn’t tasty and neither had much options. It’s a paid buffet so one can avoid it. There are many restaurants close to this place, walk. The Jehlum promenade is 10 min walk so try that for the morning walk. The staff is minimal and polite don’t expect dressed up butlers. This is more like a home stay managed by the staff.

This is a damn good property. Best we have ever visited. They serve you very good home cooked meal.
