It's the worst place ever to stay I returned from srinagar today and I'm I'll just because of the stay in this place.. I stayed in kashmir for almost a week and stayed it places which were colder than the house boat but it did not affect my health, house keeper did not turn on the heater and the bedsheets were stinking which left me with no sleep. Also the house keepers sells smokes and water inhouse at very expensive price. Also Dal lake is very dirty not maintained, I would suggest to skip house boat stay and only do shikara ride.
