I played a couple of games there every day—so comfortable! Also, there's even a free Switch on the second floor—can you believe it?! 【Food】The owner was incredibly welcoming, recommending many restaurants on the first day and even picking us up and dropping us off. None of them were bad! Especially the **Shell Boxed Meals—yyds! I ate there for a week! [Fun] The owner is quite playful; he brought a drone to play with us. A few of us went to a small canyon with Danxia landforms. This place was even more interesting than Xiaodongjiang, which I visited later, because it was undeveloped and more pristine! [Other] The owner also sang karaoke with us and introduced me to a song called ”Post-Rock” (or ”Slow Rock,” I can't quite remember). The song was fun, but it didn't do justice to the owner's personal charm. His goal this year seems to be skydiving or paragliding; I wish him success! [Summary] Danxia red cliffs reflected in the setting sun, Chenzhou is like a dream, no need to return! Mugen Youth Hostel, definitely worth a stay!

The hotel is in a good location, from the Guanglian Expressway Yingchun Exit on Yangtian Lake (South Line) is closer than the North Line. 4 kilometers from the hotel to Yangtian Lake Scenic Area. The hotel has a first-class view and can see the real shots of my room. The decoration in the room is still new and very clean. The boss is very good and will drive back and forth to the scenic spot. Breakfast is a bowl of Zhangzhou powder, very delicious, I drank the clean soup. You can also order dinner, don't worry about not having to eat when you have played the meal.

You can punch in the Gaoyiling Scenic Area nearby, and you can go to Feitian Mountain, Mahuangqiu Grand Canyon, and Wayaoping Ancient Village. It is also very convenient to drive to Yuhou Street in the city center in your spare time. Yuhou Street is antique, go to the old street to taste Zhangzhou specialty snacks, and feel the atmosphere of local fireworks. Even the famous Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, the drive is only about half an hour, get up early to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the foggy Xiaodongjiang, there is plenty of time, no need to waste travel time. Compared with many homestays around Zhangzhou, this inn is very cost-effective, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the environment is quiet and comfortable. Hotel is 3km from the tourist center where you can take a shuttle to the cable car. Drop-off service provided free of charge. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel which cooks nice meals. Mangshan was not easy for me to reach and the park's natural ambience was spoilt by the infrastructure including via ferratas in prominent locations, petting zoos and music played on repeat. One day is enough for this place and I don't think I will return as the national weather forecast was unreliable. I wanted an overcast day and it turned out fine, which is worse for photography. If you are in the area it is probably worth visiting but don't make a special trip from long distance.

For cat lovers and those who don't like cats, look no further!! A friendly and adorable tabby cat named Xiaohu will fill your heart's content! 🤣😍 The lovely young lady owner of the guesthouse provides impeccable service. We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly explored Mangshan's East and West Gates and the surrounding area. The guesthouse is clean, with plenty of hot water and air conditioning that's both warm and cool. The price is reasonable, and it's close to the scenic area entrance with many delicious restaurants nearby. Tips: 1. There's a great Tujia restaurant about 50 meters away with large bowls of dishes. The Yao ethnic minority owner is very friendly and the portions are generous. Recommended dishes: Chicken hotpot, bighead carp hotpot, fern root rice cakes, dry-pot cauliflower, and various stir-fries are all excellent. 2. The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so you'll have to carry large luggage. There's no refrigerator. A microwave is provided for simple food heating. 3. There's a pretty good breakfast place next door that makes ”pig-killing noodles,” or you can turn right at the alley in front of the Liangxin B&B and find a local breakfast shop with good steamed dumplings and rice noodle rolls. 4. The ticket for entering through the West Gate is for two days. Remember, if you want to explore the General's Village scenic area, you must go counter-clockwise… If you don't believe it, you can try going clockwise 🤣 5. If it's cold, after one person finishes showering, the next person should wait a bit, otherwise there might not be enough hot water.

You should pay attention to safety when you drive at night. There are no street lights on the mountain road. It is recommended to come and stay before dark. There are a lot of parking spaces in the villa for free parking. The next day, we got up at 7 o'clock and walked for a few minutes to the west gate of Gaoyiling to enter the scenic spot. Finally, we climbed to the top and went out of the scenic spot at the north gate. It took 3 hours, all the essence sections, saving time and effort. The north gate scenic spot called the online car about 16 yuan and returned to this villa. You can also take a bath and change clothes and eat at the villa at noon. If you have dinner, the price of the farm is normal (not expensive, not cheap, not cost-effective), and you can order your own meals. Check out after lunch and drive to the bamboo raft in the Feitian Mountain Scenic Area in the afternoon. This is a very suitable route. A lot of physical strength is consumed in the morning. In the afternoon, the bamboo raft can be repaired without any effort. The mountaineering weather in the morning is not so hot, relatively cool, not afraid of heatstroke, the sun is too big in the afternoon, the sun is just right, and it is blocked.

This is the first time I have eaten so many fish in a meal, and there is no fishy smell! delicious! Slowly eat, I can't eat the leftover tail. If you don't eat spicy food, you can tell the boss. There are many green plants on the backing of the house, and occasionally there will be small insects. You can prepare mosquito repellent supplies. The overall experience is very satisfactory!

The hotel is not far from the high speed railway station. If you walk from the station towards the hotel, there is a very nice restaurant which you cross during the walk. In the morning you can buy dumplings nearby. The accommodation has only smoking rooms, at least when we checked in all the rooms we could choose smelled dirty. I hoped they openen the windows every day and night to get some fresh air. At the end this is what we did. There were a lot of other guests, but we did not hear them at all. The bathroom is standard and it can use a huge cleaning. Unfortunately there are no proper (throw away) slippers. For us one night was ok because we took the train the next morning.
