The catering recommended by the staff of the hotel is also commendable. The authentic Dongjiang fish and farm dishes are fresh and taste pure. In short, this is a journey of healing both physically and mentally. Going to the villa is worthy of the name and has a sense of ”homecoming”. Next time you come to Zixing, this is undoubtedly the best choice!

This was the best hotel I stayed at on this trip. The room was super spacious, and the bed was really soft. I couldn't find the parking lot when I arrived, and the front desk lady actually ran out to guide me to a spot, then helped me with my luggage to the reception. Although the hotel lobby is a bit small, I absolutely love the antique, traditional style. Paired with their Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing), it makes for really stunning photos. I especially have to praise their breakfast; the variety is so rich! The 'Shazhu Fen' (pork noodle soup) is just as good as what you'd find outside. I've already recommended it to my bestie!

Staying at Lan Ting Xu Cheng Yuan is truly experiencing Dongjiang Lake. Our room had a stunning, unobstructed lake view; opening the window revealed serene green hills and clear waters. On sunny days, the lake sparkled, and when it rained, it was beautifully misty. The guesthouse has its own lovely courtyard, perfect for an afternoon tea by the fire, or a leisurely stroll along the lake in the evening – absolutely idyllic. The public areas are designed with understated elegance, featuring a book bar and a home theater, ideal for gathering with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone. It lacks the formality of a hotel and instead offers the warmth of a home and the relaxation of a vacation. This is definitely a hidden gem and a must-stay guesthouse when visiting Dongjiang Lake.

The hotel service I stayed at this time was really super satisfied! The location is very convenient, not far from the bus station, the high-speed rail station is not far away, the rainy day also warmly helped arrange the high-speed rail pick-up service, the room is particularly clean, the bedding is soft, the sleep is very comfortable, the bathroom has no smell, and the toiletries are complete. Xiaohe waiter has a very good attitude. Check-in and check-out are very fast. If you have any questions, ask them patiently and take the initiative to recommend nearby attractions to us. There are many types of breakfast, the taste is good, and you can eat enough. Room facilities and equipment are also OK, the space is large, the night is very quiet, will not be disturbed. We also upgraded the room for free, the price is super high, this price can live in such a good hotel, really cost-effective. I will choose this next time and recommend it to my friends!

Very impressed by the 2 front desk ladies who helped us changed our 3 nights booking to 2 nights. Didn't get their names, they worked the noon shift, 12-8pm, on 11 Dec 2025. They could not understand Trip.com English and used a translation app to navigate through the otherwise fixed booking that did not allow for changes. It was a long process and they were very patient throughout. Great service, highly recommended 👏

J Hotel is relatively new, located in Wuling Square. The decoration style is very suitable for young people. The hotel is generally OK. There are McDonald's, tea restaurants, and shopping malls around it. It is very convenient and can be reached on foot. The hot water in the bathroom is very stable. The curtains are electric and can be controlled by Tmall Genie. It is very intelligent. There is central air conditioning. The ladies and brothers at the front desk are also very enthusiastic. They also recommended local specialties to us. It is delicious, but we are Cantonese and can't eat spicy food. This hotel is very cost-effective. I will recommend it to my friends. I came to Chenzhou on a business trip and chose to stay at Mig Hotel. The hotel environment is very good, very close to Beihu Park, and the surrounding supporting facilities are very complete. Walking into the lobby is very spacious and comfortable. The front desk lady on the early shift was very enthusiastic when checking out. The breakfast was also very rich. The room was clean. The hotel is conveniently located in-between Gaoyiling scenic area and Dongjiang Lake, approximately 6 km to both scenic spots. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. Room is large, clean and comfortable. And room heater operates smoothly. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and has many varieties. We were satisfied with our stay here and will recommend to our family members and friends.
