TTravelAloneGoFastThe hostel is clean and quiet. I saw the owner and his family clean the place, even the stairs so I trust the cleanliness. There is a spacious common area with tables and chairs. The owner doesn’t speak English but we had no problem communicating through WeChat. The owner helped me with finding stores in town for supplies and trekking information about Gongga shan. He even texted some drivers to help me find a ride to the trail head. The location is quite close to the intercity bus stop so after your bus ride you can easily walk here. It’s a bit far from the city center but that allows you to walk the entire city to see the scenery. Overall highly recommended.

AAilvxingdewababaAs a self-proclaimed ”Sichuan West enthusiast” who spends at least 20 days a year driving through the region, this was my sixth time venturing into this land. I've stayed in countless hotels and guesthouses over the years, but this time, ”Linxi Xiaozhu” in Kangding still made our whole family feel a unique warmth. The guesthouse's location is very convenient; it's a short walk from the highway exit into town, and about a 20-minute walk to Kangding Love Song Square. The most surprising thing was the exceptionally large parking lot, a godsend for travelers like us with an SUV and plenty of luggage. While the room facilities weren't luxurious, they were clean, tidy, and fully equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. What truly impressed us was the service. The two young ladies at the front desk, Zhuoma, were gentle and welcoming. They proactively greeted us every day, helped with our luggage, and brought us fresh fruit and local snacks. Seeing that we had children, they thoughtfully provided small-sized disposable slippers—a detail that showed their attention to detail. The local restaurants they recommended were also authentic and incredibly delicious. We booked two rooms and stayed for three whole days. Every day we had all sorts of questions—from road conditions to attractions, from the weather to food—and they always answered patiently and without complaint. This kind of genuine, heartfelt service is becoming increasingly rare in many commercialized accommodations these days. On the day we left, the sun finally came out in Kangding. Although the temperature was still quite low, the sunshine warmed our hearts. My mother said, ”The weather here is warm, but the people are even warmer.” These words expressed the feelings of our whole family. We sincerely hope the owner will reward these two excellent employees; they are the most valuable asset of ”Linxi Xiaozhu.” Next time we come to Kangding, we will definitely stay here again!

AAnqilailaThe room was nice, with a view of the Dadu River from the window, and it had underfloor heating. The receptionist was very helpful; she knew I was experiencing altitude sickness and recommended I buy Coke. I stayed for five or six days in a row. The cleaning staff was a bit frustrating; they knocked on my door precisely at midnight every day. Sometimes they weren't even fully awake, and communication was difficult.

GGuest UserThe lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

GGuest UserIt's a garden hotel with its own huge parking lot. Behind it is Tagong Grassland. The hotel is located right in the middle of the street in Tagong Grassland town. There are many dining options and supermarkets at the door. It's simply the C position of Tagong Town. It takes five minutes to get to Tagong Temple and Tagong Grassland, and fifteen minutes by car to the popular Gunong Village and Muya Temple. In fact, you don't have to check in at Tagong Grassland. As long as you go out, there are grasslands and horseback riding everywhere. The weather in Yuzixi and Gediram is good to watch the sunset. But you have to resist the wind. If the wind blows, you have to bring painkillers. Be sure to bring a hat. Don't overestimate yourself. The wind on the plateau is very strong. Fortunately, the hotel provides oxygen machines and headache medicine, which is so loving.

GGuest UserThis B&B is absolutely amazing. I live alone, so I live in a single room. It's run by a ******* compatriot, so the B&B has strong ******* elements, with red and white matching. This B&B is newly opened, and the owner's mother usually takes care of it. The aunt is super nice and responsive. The hygiene is very good, the environment is also very comfortable, and the view is wide (the equipment in the room is very complete, floor heating, projector... very complete. By the way, the four-piece suit and toiletries are completely comparable to those in a big hotel. The bedding is super comfortable to sleep on, and the soundproofing is also good. I slept soundly all night...) The most important thing is that the B&B is in a very good location. The elevator goes directly to the 10th floor. Downstairs is the Kangding Square, which is the city center. The night view is very beautiful and very lively at night. The aunt told me that there would be dancing at 8 o'clock in the evening, and I went down to join in the fun. The price of the B&B is also very reasonable. JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

GGuest UserSuch a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
